Chris Evans rocked a surprisingly bespectacled look as he arrived on the set of his new film Materialists.
The 42-year-old actor was spotted walking through the set in New York City, rocking some glasses for his Thursday outing.
Filming began in New York City in late April, with Evans spotted kissing his co-star Dakota Johnson on the set in early May.
While Evans doesn’t typically wear correctable lenses, it’s unclear if this look is for his character or not.
Interestingly, Evans has not been seen wearing glasses on previous days on the set since filming has started.

Evans stepped out wearing a blue-green shirt under a short black coat for his look on the set on Thursday.
He also rocked some olive green pants and white Nike sneakers with a green swoosh to complete his look.
The actor signed on for Materialists back in early February, alongside Dakota Johnson and Pedro Pascal.
Past Lives director Celine Song will write and direct the romantic comedy, which follows a woman who runs a lucrative matchmaking business.
Her life is turned upside down when she finds herself as part of a toxic love triangle that threatens her clients.
Evans, Johnson and Pascal lead a cast that also includes Marin Ireland, Zoe Winters, Dasha Nekrasova and Swanmy Sampaio.
Song directs from her own script, with Christine Vachon, David Hinojosa and Pamela Koffler producing.
A24 will handle the film’s global release, though no release date has been given at this time.

She added to the glamour with an extravagant diamond choker, while a slick of scarlet lipstick added a pop of colour to the look.
