It is actor and writer, Larry David.
He is known for creating and writing the HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm, which first began airing 25 years earlier on October 17, 1999.
David took on a leading role in the television comedy where he portrayed a fictionalized version of himself – with numerous stars making cameos during its time on the air, such as Jon Hamm and Ted Danson.
After 12 seasons and 55 Emmy nominations, Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered its final episode earlier this year on April 7.

Another joked, ‘That’s what he looks like when he’s not in costume for his character,’ while one fan shared, ‘I loved this season. I miss this show already.’
While talking to Vanity Fair in June, Larry reflected on the series and said, ‘We have our fans, and they don’t want us to be politically correct or take into account a lot of things that are going on, and they don’t care about wokeness.’
‘They just want to laugh, and they’re not going to be offended by it. And we don’t care either.’
During an interview on Today in April, David humorously explained, ‘I’m doing this character Larry who is really me, but a me who can’t really be in society because I’d be arrested…’
In regards to the show’s end, the star said he feels the ‘slightest shred’ of sentimentalism.
‘I’m too old to really be on camera every single week now, to act the way I do on this show, how can I continue to act like that?’ he joked. ‘It’s insane. I can do it in my 50s, 60s and to mid-70s. I’m not going into the 80s acting like that.’
Larry also discussed the series being improvised rather than scripted, stating, ‘That’s what makes it so much fun.’

While also talking to Today, Larry opened up about the inspiration behind the NBC series, and said it began with him and Jerry, ‘in a grocery store talking about breakfast cereals and what have you.’
‘And we were kind of funny with each other, and we went, “Yeah, this is what the show should be. This kind of dialogue.” Which I never heard on television – the kind of discussions that we would have.’
