She burst onto showbiz scene a decade ago with her catchy hit, Lush Life.

Yet while Zara Larsson is known for her feel-good lyrics and perky persona, she also has a no-nonsense streak that has seen her share very blunt opinions about her fellow stars.

This week saw the Swedish singer, 28, land herself in hot water with Taylor Swift for a second time this week after taking aim at the world's most intense fan base, Swifties.

When discussing her success Zara said she has no desire to 'play the chart game' because no one cares about the charts anymore... apart from 'Taylor Swift's fans', sparking their outrage.

Yet Zara is no stranger to raising eyebrows with her outspoken nature, freely discussing politics, hot topics and other celebrities without any filter.

From chart rivals to social media stars, here we take a look at the celebrities who have come under scrutiny from Zara.

While Zara Larsson is known for her feel-good lyrics and perky persona, she also has a no-nonsense streak that has seen her share very blunt opinions about her fellow stars

But the outspoken Swedish singer has landed herself in hot water after sparking a feud with the world's most intense fan base, Taylor Swift's Swifties (Taylor Swift pictured in March)

Zara's latest drama with Taylor Swift came after she told The Guardian: 'Playing the chart game is so dead to me. No one's looking at the charts but industry people and maybe  fans.'

The comment then exploded on social media after fans mocked up a fake post by Taylor that read: 'honestly just... disappointed. That's all.' Yet in reality, Taylor had not responded publicly to the comment.

Yet that didn't stop fans of Taylor taking to social media to pen: 'So it looks like Zara Larsson just ended her career. Yikes. Don’t know why you had to drag Taylor. Actually Romantic,';

'She needs to make a bad comment about Taylor Swift to maintain her pitiful moment of fame. Who listens to @zaralarsson?';

'Honestly… why did she have to mention her by name? What was the reasoning? She probably just did it for clout,';

'Zara should just admit that she's deeply jealous of Taylor lol so woke but cannot admit the truth and doesn’t have the depth to be introspective about what’s most likely going on lol,'

'Hello what did taylor swift do to zara larsson for her to be like that lmaoo,'; 'For an artist who spent 80% of her career flopping after being extremely desperate for numbers, that's a pretty funny statement Zara Larsson.'

Zara later clarified her comments after the backlash from Taylor fans, as she took to her Instagram Story.

She said: 'I did an interview in the guardian "saying no one cares about the charts but industry people and maybe Taylor swift fans" because no one plays the chart game like Taylor swift lol.

'She's literally the best at it and everyone knows that. It's not the read you guys think it is. And also...I care!!! Hihi. Best believe I will try to release at least two diffrent covers for my psychical on my next project after midnight sun.

'I said that because I feel like I have some cultural value right now in pop music, something l've never had to this level, but I'm not in a position to influence the charts :( lol :( And I still think you can be an amazing artist and not chart. Those two things are not mutually equal to me, and shouldn't be to any fans either.

'But... I still want number one! Please make midnight sun #1!!! Please!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WOJKD BE SO MEGA PLZZZZ!!!!! [sic]'

Taylor's fans, who are notoriously loyal and quick to attack anyone they feel has slighted the star, took aim at Zara

Zara also took aim at fellow celebrities, previously launching a brutal take down of rapper and convicted criminal Chris Brown (Pictured in January)

Meanwhile she was also involved in a feud with rapper Chris Brown - who pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009

Zara also name checked Taylor in 2017 when she urged the Fearless hitmaker to be more outspoken politically.

In an interview with Newsweek Europe at the time, she said: 'I would like her feminism to be a little bit more inclusive, more intersectional, because she does have a lot of followers and can make a difference.

'She's being very nice on every subject, because I feel like she doesn't want to step on anyone's toes.

'She could have Trump supporters who are her fans, and maybe she doesn't want to offend them.'

Zara has also made her feelings known about Chris Brown - who pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, resulting in a sentence of five years' probation, community service, and mandatory domestic violence counselling.

In a 2016, Zara was taking part in Song Tinder, a game where she swiped left or right on songs she liked or didn't.

She was quick to swipe away when one of Chris' songs came on, exclaiming: 'Hell no! Because I don't like him. I do like his music, to be honest. I think he's a really talented person. He can really dance and sing, but he's not a nice person.'

Taking to X, Twitter that same year, Zara wrote: 'Chris brown is TRAAASSHHHHH.'

Meanwhile, in 2019, Zara claimed YouTuber James Charles had sent private messages to her now ex-boyfriend despite 'knowing damn well he's straight'.

The singer made the claims after James came under fire after fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook uploaded a 43-minute video entitled Bye Sister where she outlined several reasons why she was ending her friendship with him.

The video prompted Zara to take to Twitter to claim that James had sent a message to her then-boyfriend Brian Whittaker.

In a later deleted tweet, she wrote: 'I'm cackling cause he hit up my boyfriend in the DMs several times knowing damn well he's straight.'

She later wrote: 'I feel like deleting this cause I checked and it wasn't several times, only one DM and some comments under pictures.'

In Tati's video, she said that James's choice to promote a competitor to her own company was just the latest example of bad behaviour — which included James making advances on men he knew to be straight, manipulating others' sexuality, and speaking crassly about sex in front of her friends and family.

Zara later deleted both of her tweets and wrote another one, expressing regret at getting involved in the controversy.

Zara later deleted both of her tweets and wrote another one, expressing regret at getting involved in the controversy

She wrote: 'It made me really uncomfortable cause I felt like it was unproportiunally blown up and I honestly don't wanna be a part of it.

'I feel like I shouldn't have made my self involved, even if the behavior is problematic in general.'

Elsewhere back in 2023, Zara became embroiled in a feud with a TikToker called Ryan Crouse.

Ryan had claimed that he went to a Zara Larsson concert in Washington D.C. in 2018 and was invited up on stage.

He went on to say that when the pair began singing together, she pushed him off the stage and shouted at him. The video ended before Ryan had finishing 'repeating' the sentence he claimed Zara had said to him, but it was widely interpreted by horrified followers that he was insinuating she had used a homophobic slur.

Calling out Ryan's post, which he revealed was satire, Zara said: 'Ryan you seem like such a sweet guy, I love your content, I love our personality, and I get that it's a joke, but we need to make a study on what it is that makes white gay men feel like making a woman look homophobic is like the funniest joke ever.

'Everybody who knows me knows that I'm an ally.'

And in 2021, Zara publicly fired her creative director Ryder Ripps after his ex-fiancé Azealia Banks exposed messages from him criticising her 'arms'.

Taking to her Instagram Story, she shared a series of screenshots from Azealia which appeared to be from Ryder where he body-shamed the star and said she should be a 'fat b***h' instead of 'trying to be hot'.

Writing over the messages in a series of heartfelt statements, Zara penned: 'So... who knows any good creative directors lol.'

Earlier in the day, Azealia had shared a series of screenshots, which appeared to be messages from Ryder.

In one exchange, which the rapper captioned 'Ryder making fun of Zara Larssons arms again', a picture of Zara with the words 'Zara armsson' underneath was posted.

While other texts which appeared to be from the creative director saw another snap of Zara with the word 'arm' under it  and the following claims: 'im serrious, i think z should get fatter and stop trying to be hot just be a fat b***h.'
