Danny and Cricket, played respectively by Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell, have been a power couple on The Young And The Restless since the 1980s.
Their wedding episode in Hawaii in 1990 remains a beloved milestone moment on the program among its legions of longtime fans.
Now the pair are about to guest star on another show – one of that has welcomed several characters from The Young And The Restless in the past.
‘We’re all so excited. What we’re doing is so authentic to the story,’ said Lauralee, 55, gushing that the teams of both series have been ‘downright giddy’ about the impending crossover, via Us Weekly.

Danny and Cricket are going to appear on The Bold And The Beautiful, which began its run in 1987 as a sister show to The Young And The Restless.
Since the early 1990s, several characters from The Young And The Restless have crossed over to guest on The Bold And The Beautiful.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown, later Michelle Carter), Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) are just a small sample.
Now Danny and Cricket are joining their ranks – owing to the fact that Lauralee’s brother Bradley Bell is the head writer on The Bold And The Beautiful.
Bradley ‘saw we were doing something on Y&R and he thought this would be great for B&B,’ Lauralee explained this week.
Danny’s current storyline involves him going on the road with a band, so ‘Of course he would have a concert in LA and that’s how the idea came about,’ she added.
While The Young And The Restless is famously set in Genoa City, Wisconsin, The Bold And The Beautiful takes place in Los Angeles.
Cricket, aka Christine, and Danny will appear on two episodes of The Bold And The Beautiful, both of which are due to go on the air in August.

‘Danny and Christine are invited to the Forrester Estate for a party celebrating the success of the relaunch of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) “Brooke’s Bedroom” fashion line…or so they think,’ begins the official synopsis.
‘Little do Danny and Christine know, Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have invited them to pitch a new business venture. Not to be outdone, Danny decides to give a surprise performance of his own to share with the partygoers.’
Brooke and Ridge are the reigning power couple on The Bold And The Beautiful, and are among the four original principals from the show’s 1987 premiere.
Although Cricket has featured on The Bold and The Beautiful before, in 2007, that time was ‘100 percent legal’ and ‘just a court case,’ said Lauralee.
Her next appearance on the show will be the ‘complete opposite,’ allowing her to ‘dress up and have fun’ in a ‘rock star girlfriend’ look including a ‘short black dress.’
She waxed rhapsodic about the impending crossover, glowingly sharing: ‘We’re all so excited about this. Six months ago there was a rumor of me coming to B&B and I was like: “If I am no one has told me!” This is such a perfect reason.’
Over the decades of its run, a cavalcade of famous faces have launched their careers on The Young And The Restless before achieving greater stardom elsewhere.
Among them are Desperate Housewives bombshell Eva Longoria, Magnum PI lead Tom Selleck and the late Fast And Furious heartthrob Paul Walker.
