The Young And The Restless star Camryn Grimes has married to voice actor Brock Powell.
Over the weekend, the pair exchanged vows in a ‘moody’ and ‘funky’ wedding in New Orleans, three years after the pair got engaged and two years after they welcomed their first child together.
The couple are parents to their toddler son named Bridger, whom Grimes gave birth to in December 2023 just four months after she announced her pregnancy.
The pair opted for a destination wedding in Louisiana, inviting 75 of their closest family and friends for their ‘adventure,’ the couple told People following their nuptials on Saturday, November 10.
The newlyweds joked that their wedding was ‘a long time coming.’
Grimes is best known for starring as Mariah Copeland on the long-running soap series The Young and the Restless.

They celebrated with Grimes’s uncle, Party Of Five actor Scott Grimes, as well as Hayley Erin, her longtime best friend and co-star on The Young And The Restless, and General Hospital alum Robert Palmer Watkins.
They said they decided on New Orleans because they wanted to feel like they were ‘on vacation with those closest’ to them and that the city represented ‘the intersection of a lot of different passions and loves.’
The couple told the outlet that they chose the venue, The Columns Hotel, because the space ‘spoke to’ them and fit the sophisticated and spooky ‘vibe’ of what they wanted their wedding to be.
‘It’s a little moody, a little funky but at the same time very classy and historic,’ the bride explained.
For her white dress, Grimes wore a elegant two-piece outfit from KYHA Studios while the groom chose a dapper, forest green suit.
The bride walked down the aisle to a Kingdom Hearts video game theme song before the pair exchanged vows with Bill Rogers, who is nicknamed The Voice of Disneyland, officiating.
Then, they celebrated their nuptials with a New Orleans-style second line parade and freshly baked beignets.
Their romance dates back to 2020 when they started dating after Grimes’s co-star Bryton James introduced her to Powell to help her make a voice acting demo.

She recalled how the beginning of their romance started during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning they had to transition from FaceTime calls to face-to-face dating later on.
‘We just started chatting and then it was just sort of like we never stopped talking, so it was endless FaceTime calls,’ she told Soap Opera Digest in November 2023.
‘It had been probably since high school where I’d wake up and wanted to talk to that person all day long until it was night,’ she recalled.
‘I don’t even like talking on the phone and here I was, gabbing for hours and hours,’ she continued.
‘This went on for a few weeks until I realized, “Oh, I’m very drawn to this person.” I was committed to being single and for the first time, I thought, “If I keep going down this path, then he’s the one.”‘
Two years later, Powell proposed to Grimes on her birthday in January.
Reflecting on the moment he popped the question, Grimes admitted: ‘Apparently I kind of blacked out.
‘I mean, I remember the whole thing but watching the video back, everybody was making fun of me because the only thing that I was saying for a good five-to-10 minutes was, “Oh my God! Oh my God!” And so he had to ask a couple of times.’
