X Factor Star Fleur East and Husband Marcel Badiane-Robin Expecting First Child

Fleur East is expecting her first child. 

The X Factor star, 36, took to Instagram on Monday to reveal she is expecting a baby with her husband Marcel Badiane-Robin. 

She shared a stunning snap on Instagram alongside the sweet caption: ‘2024 is gonna be different’, before being met with mounds of celebrity praise. 

Fleur and Marcel, a fashion designer who has worked with stars including Rita Ora and Jason Derulo, were dating for nine years, before he popped the question in their hotel room in 2019 and they married later that year in Morocco.

They have been together since 2010, having first met in a bar in 2009 when he was working as a waiter, although she was dating somebody else at the time. A year later they reconnected and started dating before tying  the knot nine years later.

Fleur gave a rare insight into their relationship when they became engaged in 2019, as she said: ‘I said yes immediately! How Marcel did everything was just wonderful…

‘We’re in a really traditional Japanese hotel and there were petals on the bed and champagne…Then I turned around and he was there, with the ring. He said: “Fleur East, will you be my wife?”

‘I couldn’t believe it. The ring is so beautiful and yellow is my favourite colour.’
