Wynne Evans has revealed he’s been left in ‘agony’ amid a very turbulent time for the star.
The opera singer, 53, is currently fighting to clear his name after submitting dossier of evidence to help him following his recent vile sexual slur and ‘gropegate’ scandals.
And taking to Instagram on Friday, Wynne opened up on his discomfort following a disastrous trip to the barbers, revealing that he had his eyebrows threaded following his regular head shave.
However, the former Strictly star was left stunned by the pain of the procedure as he informed fans that the eyebrow threading was worse than a back wax.
Captioning his post, Wynne penned: ‘Went to the barbers here – gone for a sharp look. He threaded my eye brows. Why didn’t anyone tell me it’s agony. Nearly as bad as having my back waxed.’
Emphasizing his agony, Wynne added the word ‘ouch’ across his snap in which he grimaced at the camera following the hair removal treatment.

His post was met with a plethora of supportive comments from fans, with many sharing their own grooming disasters.
Wynne’s snap comes after he recently jetted off to Dubai with supportive girlfriend Liz Brookes after he and co-star Jamie Borthwick became embroiled in a shocking sex toy scandal.
The opera singer has also reportedly submitted a dossier of evidence to clear him over a vile sexual slur he made about about host Janette Manrara and ‘gropegate’ which saw him putting his hands around pro partner Katya Jones’ waist before she batted them away.
With the scandals resulting in Wynne resigning from the tour and being taking a break from his BBC Radio Wales show, he has now jetted off to sunnier climes with his partner who has been there at his side throughout.
In snaps obtained by The Mirror the pair, who have been dating since early 2024, were spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport last Saturday.
The lovebirds were dressed comfortably for their long flight as they pushed their matching blue suitcases to the check in.
The sex toy scandal saw Wynne and Jamie, in footage obtained by The Sun on Sunday, backstage after the Go Compare advert star sent the actor the object.
Filmed just two days after Wynne was recorded making his vile sexual comment to Jamie about pro dancer Janette Manrara, the video sees Jamie explaining the toy was sent to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena reception by Wynne.

Jamie said: ‘Look at what he bought me. I opened it up and he surprised me with this, didn’t he. It’s so funny.’
Jamie reportedly shared the offensive clip on the Strictly contestant Whatsapp group.
A source told The Sun: ‘As soon as BBC executives were made aware of this shocking and immature footage being shared they formally addressed the issue and reminded the pair they had to act professionally.
‘The men were acting extremely immaturely and inappropriately, considering it was a family show, and many cast members didn’t share their crass sense of humour.
‘Bosses were horrified and shocked, hoping to nip the issue in the bud, unaware the video had been shared more widely.’
They added that the pair thought the video was funny, yet while they saw the hilarity, others didn’t, especially as Strictly is a family show.
It comes after The Mail On Sunday exposed Wynne crudely suggesting a three-way sex session with Janette, using the hugely demeaning term ‘spit roast’.
But it has now been reported that he has submitted evidence which his friends insist prove he is not guilty of making the inappropriate comment – despite the star already apologising for the remark.
‘These past few months have been absolutely torrid for Wynne. He has had his name dragged through the mud,’ a friends has told The Sun. ‘He feels he’s been thrown under a bus and left to fend for himself.’

Wynne has also submitted a dossier of evidence to the BBC which friends of the Strictly Come Dancing star believe clears him of lewd behaviour allegations

The Mail On Sunday exposed the opera star making a vile sexual comment about Strictly host Janette Manrara in January during a photocall for the then forthcoming Strictly Live Tour
The paper claim that Wynne’s dossier alleges there ‘a very different context’ to the remark made to Janette.
Janette did not make a complaint against the singer, yet he apologised for the vile remark after the Mail On Sunday video evidence emerged.
Wynne is now reportedly claiming the spitroast comment was taken out of context with the insider telling The Sun: ‘Wynne’s team have had the clip sent off to a cyber forensics team which has come back with a word nobody had previously picked up on before; they believe it changes everything.
‘In it, he can be heard saying “old spitroast boy” to Jamie Borthwick. It may seem like semantics, but the “old” and the “boy” proves he was addressing Jamie and not making a crude sexual remark about Janette, as originally thought.
‘This is apparently a reference to Jamie putting his legs above his head, and looking like a spitroast chicken.’
It comes amid reports that the BBC have launched a wide-ranging investigation into the disgraced opera singer that goes beyond his time on Strictly Come Dancing, as revealed by The Mail on Sunday.
The Welsh star is at the centre of an inquiry that bosses have confirmed is a ‘wider BBC’ matter rather than relating just to the dance show – and the tour that followed where we exposed him for using the crude term ‘spit roast’.
It is understood that the review is being conducted in secret.
The Go Compare frontman was caught on video in January warning dancer Janette Manrara not to stand ‘too close’ to co-star Jamie Borthwick or they would perform the three-way sex act on her.

As well as leaving the Strictly tour in January, Mr Evans has been absent from the programme since January 27, just days after the MoS exposed his comment to Ms Manrara (pictured: with Strictly professional Katya Jones)
At the time, he apologised for what he called an ‘inappropriate and unacceptable’ comment at Birmingham Arena as the professional dancers and their celebrity partners prepared for a photo on stage to launch the tour.
The outcome of the investigation is likely to be revealed in early May. If Mr Evans is found to have breached rules concerning inappropriate behaviour, he could lose his job as presenter of the BBC Radio Wales breakfast show.
As well as leaving the Strictly tour in January, Mr Evans has been absent from the programme since January 27, just days after the MoS exposed his comment to Ms Manrara.
He also appeared in a BBC travel documentary, All At Sea, with Gavin And Stacey actress Joanna Page, which saw them sail around their native Wales. It is not known if it will be recommissioned.
Evans has launched a fight-back with his legal team, telling The Sun newspaper that his ‘spit roast’ comment was a light-hearted reference to EastEnders actor Mr Borthwick ‘looking like a spit roast chicken’ because of how he warmed up on Strictly.
But in the video Evans can be heard warning Ms Manrara as she approached the group of dancers: ‘Careful, not too close to Jamie’, followed by the words ‘Spit roast’.
The father-of-two’s legal team insist the remark was not in relation to the It Takes Two host.
It was alleged that some of the Strictly cast believe it should have been Mr Borthwick, 30, who left the live tour, not Mr Evans. The Sun last week reported that the actor sent a rude message to the Strictly WhatsApp group chat, with sources telling them that they believe Mr Borthwick’s comment was worse than Mr Evans’s yet ‘nobody batted an eyelid’.
