A Melbourne influencer has shared the moment she asked a male stranger to share a few drinks during a flight.
Teri Kearns posted an Instagram video that showed her looking for ways to pass the time while in the air.
Turning to a male passenger, unknown to her, she simply said: ‘Do you want to get drunk together?’ to which her new travel buddy offered a receptive: ‘Why not.’
The stunning blonde then proceeded to pour her pal, who was dressed in high-vis tradie gear, a cup of prosecco.
The pair quickly became fast friends over their in-flight drinks.
‘See you at the bottom,’ Teri said before they eagerly quaffed their drinks.

Teri’s travel buddy then asked with a broad smile: ‘Would you like another?’ and buzzed for a flight attendant to bring another round.
The sociable influencer even tried to get another couple in on the action, asking if they wanted a sip of her wine.
They politely declined.
Things took a bizarre turn when, however, a member of the cabin crew appeared in the aisle holding a puppet possum.
Teri’s gesture was wholeheartedly appreciated by her drinking buddy, who declared: ‘Thank you for making the flight fun. Cheers to that.’
The hilarious clip was met with a flurry of comments from fans, with many quite taken with the surprise cameo from the cute puppet.
‘Wtf that possum puppet threw me,’ one follower commented and Teri replied with: ‘Me too when I was a few proseccos deep.’
Others were equally confused by the puppet, with many admitting they did a double-take.

‘I had to watch it twice, thought it was real at first,’ one follower added.
Others were simply keen to join Teri on her next flight, with one hopeful follower offering: ‘This is amazing, let me know your flight & seat next time xxx.’
Another jumped in with a similar: ‘Rude that I haven’t been sat next to you on a flight tbh.’
Teri’s in-flight rendezvous comes after she revealed that 2025 Married At First Sight star Dave Hand rescued her ‘in the street’ from a man who was ‘harassing’ her.
‘I met Dave because I was getting harassed by a man in the street and he came up and pretended to know me and got rid of him,’ Teri said on social media.
She was so grateful for the rescue and enamoured by Dave’s kindness that the pair became fast friends.
