Following the breakup of The Beatles, Paul McCartney missed the camaraderie and the band Wings was born.
Formed in 1971 with his wife Linda McCartney and guitarist Denny Laine, Wings achieved six No.1 singles during its 10-year tenure.
And four decades later their best hits are set to be released on in a new anthology album across vinyl, CD, Blu-ray and digital.
The self-titled anthology will chart the music Paul made after the break up of The Beatles after finding himself adrift, having parted ways with his lifelong collaborators and closest friends.
In accompanying photographs for the reinvention album, Paul is seen alongside former wife Linda, who tragically passed away from cancer in 1998 aged 56, and guitarist Denny, who died in 2023.
Over the course of a decade, the band released seven studio albums and charted an ambitious journey that blended musical experimentation with global success.
