William Shatner was the picture of vitality as he shared a photo from the kitchen on Thanksgiving, November 27.
The 94-year-old Star Trek icon beamed a big smile as he posed beside his holiday spread that included turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes and a baked dish that could have been scalloped potatoes.
‘Happy Thanksgiving everybody…we all talk about blessings at Thanksgiving…,’ Shatner’s caption began.
‘I am especially thankful this year as we are blessed beyond measure with heath, family and a beautiful gathering. I am wishing you all a blessed day and holiday season. Best, Bill,’ he concluded.
Shatner is a culinary enthusiast and loves to tinker with recipes so it’s easy to assume he helped with the cooking.
The foodie’s social media message elicited more than 37.6k likes and 1.4k comments including one from pal Tori Spelling, who wrote, ‘love you!’

Shatner and Spelling go back a long way due to her father, Aaron Spelling.
The nonagenarian starred in the popular Eighties series T.J. Hooker, which was produced by the late TV mogul.
Last year, Shatner appeared on the mom-of-five’s podcast misSPELLING for an episode called ‘Mr. William Shatner,’ in which they discussed everything from sex, porn, enemas and OnlyFans.
Later on Thanksgiving after much indulging, Shatner posted a self-mocking message on X, writing, ‘Just call me a turkey because I’m stuffed!’
Shatner’s holiday greeting came two months after TMZ reported the Boston Legal star was ‘rushed’ to hospital on September 24 after suffering a ‘medical emergency.’
Citing Shatner’s agent, Harry Gold, TMZ claimed the actor had experienced a blood sugar issue and was checked out.
Later on, Gold released a statement that read, ‘I spoke to Bill earlier this evening, He is fine. He is not in the hospital. He is at home. He is 100 percent healthy.’
The following day, Shatner himself downplayed the rumors on X, sharing a meme of himself as Mark Twain that read, ‘Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!’

In the caption, Shatner wrote, ‘I over indulged. I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine. I keep telling you all: don’t trust tabloids or AI!’
Meanwhile, the legendary star is keeping busy with a slew of projects.
Shatner is host and executive producer of The UnXplained on The History Channel, plus he is touring with a show that includes a screening of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan featuring a live Q&A with him.
On October 13, 2021, Shatner became the oldest person to travel to space at the time, traveling aboard a Blue Origin New Shepard rocket.
He later remarked the trip filled him ‘with overwhelming sadness.’
‘It was among the strongest feelings of grief I have ever encountered,’ he shared in his book, Boldly Go: Reflections on a Life of Awe and Wonder.
‘The contrast between the vicious coldness of space and the warm nurturing of Earth below filled me with overwhelming sadness.’

He continued, ‘We’re nothing. We are nothing, and that’s what I saw. And what else I saw was the tragedy of the extinction of life.’Â
Shatner added, ‘My trip to space was supposed to be a celebration; instead, it felt like a funeral.’
The aging thespian has no plans to board another space-bound rocket.
He told Fox News Digital that going back to space would be like ‘revisiting a love affair’ and that he should ‘let it alone.’
