Will Smith posed for a rare photo with his eldest son Trey as the star helped celebrate his 33rd birthday earlier this week.
The 57-year-old actor – who has previously gotten candid about his salvaged relationship with Trey – joined other family members and close pals for an intimate dinner on the special day.
The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air alum could be seen with his son in a series of Instagram snaps uploaded by his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. The former couple welcomed Trey on November 11, 1992 before their divorce three years later.
In one picture, Will flashed a cheerful smile as he stood next to Sheree as well as their son Trey.
The Oscar winner was also accompanied by wife Jada Pinkett Smith and their 27-year-old son Jaden for the bash. The pair – who tied the knot in 1997 – are also parents to daughter Willow, 25.
Another slide in the post showed Trey draping his arms around his father and younger half-brother’s shoulders.

Will joined the other guests as they sung ‘Happy Birthday’ to Trey who stood next to a two-layer cake with a Las Vegas sign on the front.
The party appeared to be a casino theme with cards spread out on one of the tables while large, colorful dice were placed nearby.
The camera panned around the room to show Trey’s close pals and loved ones ringing in the special milestone.
In the caption of the Instagram carousel, Sheree penned: ‘Wow! You are 33 Son! What a pure delight and magnificent soul you are!
‘Your light is infectious and the love, grace, and compassion that you live & move in is such a beautiful honor, privilege & joy to behold! To say that I am honored to be your Mother would only touch the surface of the depth of my gratitude and love for you!’
She concluded with, ‘May this 33rd year around the Sun be a portal into another dimension of brilliance & abundance! HAPPY 33rd to The AngO! @treysmithofficial.’
Will previously tied the knot with Sheree in 1992 but the pair went their separate ways and divorced in 1995.
Trey has followed in his father’s entertainment footsteps and notably appeared next to Will in the star’s 1998 music video for his track titled Just The Two Of Us.

The Men In Black actor has previously discussed salvaging his relationship with his eldest child after they had the chance to reconnect.
Following his divorce from Sheree, Will admitted back in 2018 that both he and Trey ‘struggled for years’ – but positively added that they had ‘restored’ their bond.
The Hollywood star shared an Instagram post at the time as they attended F1 in Abu Dhabi.
He had written, ‘It has not always been like this between Trey & I. We STRUGGLED FOR YEARS after my Divorce from his Mother.

And in an accompanying video, Will explained to his followers, ‘So I’m in Abu Dhabi at the F1, I brought my son Trey.

Will also had talked about his divorce in the past during an appearance on Jada’s Red Table Talk series.
‘Divorce was the ultimate failure for me,’ he explained. ‘I’ve been hurt a lot in my adult life, but I don’t think anything touches the failure of getting divorced from my 2-year-old son’s mother.’
He added, ‘Sheree and I ran into that – if a man’s not a great husband, then he loses his parental rights.’
The star also shared, ‘I’m a way better father than I am a husband. In that process, you start fighting for your rights, and the kid is in the middle.’
However, the Bad Boys actor said that ‘as soon as Trey was ready, he came looking for his father’ – thus giving them an opportunity to repair their relationship.
Over the years, Will and ex-wife Sheree have developed a positive co-parenting relationship despite their divorce.

Back in January, a source gave an update to People on the status of their relationship.
‘Call it what you want. They are living their own lives but haven’t completely severed ties,’ the insider said.
A separate source also told the outlet that the pair ‘are still together’ but ‘have had separate homes for years.’
