A popular TV presenter appears to have thrown his support behind Tess Crosley after it was revealed she was the woman at the centre of the marriage breakdown between Jules and Lachie Neale.
The trio have dominated headlines in recent weeks after Jules, 35, implicated her former best friend in the ‘betrayal’ that ended her relationship with the AFL star.
Tony Armstrong, once touted as ABC’s ‘golden boy’, has been busted liking Tess’ selfies as she continues to post amid the media storm.
The former breakfast news star, 36, who is currently dating Rona Glynn-McDonald, doesn’t seem to have distanced himself from Tess, 30, despite the negative press she has received in recent weeks.Â
The former footy star has liked almost every selfie the brunette beauty has posted since December, when the rumours began about Lachie, 32, and Jules’ split.Â
However, after Daily Mail went to Tony and his reps for comment, the media personality promptly unliked the images on Tess’ page – though he continues to follow her online at the time of writing this article.Â

One like came in December, just before news broke that Lachie and Jules’ relationship was on the rocks.Â
Tess had posted a gallery of photos from her day-to-day life at the time, which included several busty selfies and pictures of the son she shares with husband Ben.Â
Her next posts came over Christmas after Jules shared explosive comments to Instagram saying she had been ‘betrayed in the most unimaginable way’.Â
By then, Lachie and Jules’ split had been all but confirmed, with Jules going on to implicate Tess in their breakup.Â
In a now-deleted comment, Jules demanded Tess remove photos from her Instagram account of the Lions’ grand final celebrations that showed the Neales and Crosleys together after the game.
The image saw Tess cuddling up to Lachie, with their knees touching, as he celebrated his win, while Ben and Jules stood on the other side of him.Â
‘Take these down, you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself,’ Jules wrote.
As news broke of the comments and the photo, Tess continued to post online as though it were business as usual.Â

Tess’ most recent post came on Monday, at the height of the speculation swirling about herself and Lachie, when she celebrated her 30th birthday with a smile.
The Mormon missionary enjoyed a tipple at Penfolds Magill Estate Winery in South Australia while her husband travelled to Bali with multiple friends.Â
Documenting the outing in a social media post, Tess looked relaxed and luminous as she looked away from the camera, smiling.
‘Turned 30 on the weekend,’ she captioned the post, which showed her enjoying a dessert as well as a glass of wine.
Re-sharing the same image on her Instagram Stories, Tess added a telling song by American singer Lana Del Rey.
The section of the song, called Cinnamon Girl, which Tess posted, features the lyrics: ‘Hold me, love me, touch me, honey. Be the first who ever did.’

It comes after shock new details emerged about the very public split Lions player Lachie and his wife Jules.
In December, Jules implicated her best friend Tess and her husband in a ‘betrayal’ that ended their union.
Now it has emerged that it was another Brisbane Lions WAG who allegedly caught Lachie in a compromising position with Tess in a car.
According to the Herald Sun, the woman who discovered the pair is said to have sought advice from another AFL player’s partner before breaking the news to Jules.
Jules has since returned to her home state of Western Australia in the wake of her split from Lachie, along with the former couple’s two children, Piper and Freddie.
Lachie was recently spotted moving his belongings into a bachelor pad in Brisbane as he decides whether to stay with the Lions or return to Perth as well.
