When Great British Bake Off host Noel Fielding isn’t distracting contestants or humouring viewers with his witty jokes, he’s at home in London living a quiet life as a devoted partner and father-of-two.
However, the past few months have not been easy for the comedian, 51, as the second series of his comedy show, The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, has now reportedly been axed mid-production.
It was then later reported that Noel had abruptly pulled out of filming for the series due to ill health.
The star played the lead role of the legendary highwayman in the multi-million-pound show which had its first series on Apple TV last spring.
A spokesperson for the comedian confirmed to MailOnline this week: ‘This is a private and confidential matter regarding our client’s health. We are saddened by the decision to cease production but we cannot make any further comment on this matter.’
But who is Noel’s long-term partner Liliana Bird – who he has been with for 14 years – and how did they meet?

They reportedly met while working on the BBC Three show Him & Her.
The multi-talented presenter is thought to reside in leafy Highgate, North London with his partner.
The couple are not yet married but announced in March 2018 that they were expecting their first child together.
Do the pair have children?

During August in 2018, Lliana revealed the couple were expecting their second child on her Instagram page, showing off her baby bump while cooking pancakes.
Revealing the bump, the presenter told her followers that she would be taking maternity leave from her radio show.
Dali was allegedly named after one of Noel’s favourite artists – Salvador Dali, renowned for his surrealist works.
Although the couple prefers to conceal their children’s identities from the public, Lliana does take some pleasure in sporadically uploading her daughter Dali’s artwork.
The mother proudly showcases her eldest’s work from time to time – from colourful drawings of the England women’s football team to adorable family portraits, to a ‘self-portrait’ configuration of an outfit carefully selected by Dali herself.
