Hayley Lewis was a huge fixture in the sporting world in the 1990s, becoming a legend in the pool at the tender age of 15.
She was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1997 and won two Olympic medals across three Olympic Games.
By 2010, she became a household face, landing a gig as host of The Biggest Loser Australia between 2010 and 2014, but then suddenly she dropped off the radar.
So, where is she now?
Following a fast rise to fame at such a young age, Hayley now enjoys a low-key lifestyle out of the media spotlight.
She lives in Brisbane with her husband and childhood sweetheart Greg Taylor, whom she married in 1997 and shares sons Jacob, 24, and Kai, 21, with.

Her youngest child recently followed in her footsteps, winning silver in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Hayley spends much of her week attending to her gift and homewares store in Balmoral, called Coming Up Roses.
On the store’s Facebook page, it is described as the ‘perfect store for unique, quirky and ‘hard to find’ gifts’.
It certainly lives up to the promise, selling all kinds of cute items from scrunchies, bags and slippers to the recently popular Sonny Angel dolls.
The three-time Olympian opened Coming Up Roses shortly after redevelopment plans saw her Westfield Carindale swimming centre close in 2010.
Hayley had started the centre in 2002, coming off the high of an incredibly successful swimming career.
In the height of her athleticism and fame, Hayley won five gold medals and one bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games as a 15-year-old.
At the 1991 World Championships in Perth, she also won gold, two silvers and a bronze, across several events.

Hayley went on to compete at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics—where she won a silver and bronze medal—the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, and the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
She received an Australian Sports Medal in 2000 and a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2003 for her incredible sporting accomplishments.
Now, she gets to sit back and watch on with pride as her son Kai boldly follows the path his mother laid.
The up-and-coming competitive swimmer brought tears to Hayley’s eyes last year when he won silver at the Paris Olympics.
Hayley and Kai are the second mother-son duo to represent Australia in Olympic swimming, after Edna Davey and Graham Hamilton in 1928 and 1956 respectively.

Hayley announced on Facebook at the time it was ‘time to move on’ as she chose to take a step back from the spotlight to focus on her family and Brisbane store.
Despite the controversy which has plagued the series for years, Hayley has always been a staunch supporter of the show.
‘Even though I’m not the host anymore, I’m still a big believer in the show,’ she told the Today breakfast show in 2015.
‘I’ve never said anything negative about The Biggest Loser. And I won’t.’
Hayley also works as a sought-after motivational speaker and Queensland’s Mental Health Ambassador.
