The Irish model, 39, has been married to the former Made in Chelsea star, 36, since 2018 and they share three children together – Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two.

Appearing on The Netmums Podcast, Vogue opened up on the importance of nurturing relationships outside of parenting, and how they make time for each other amidst their busy schedules.

Hosts Wendy and Alison brought up the topic of child-free time and how Vogue and Spencer have enjoyed child-free holidays.

Vogue explained: ‘We spend a massive amount of time with our kids, but you have to nurture your own relationship.

‘At the end of the day you are all a big family and there is no family if the two of you are always fighting and not creating time with each other.

‘Now, saying that we don’t have loads of time together, but we try to do a couple of weekends a year where it is just you and I.

‘And then we did one together, ended up having a fight and not talking for the full day. I was like “no this isn’t how it is suppose to go!”

‘Vogue is busy back at work after enjoying a family ski holiday last month, taking to Instagram at the time to document the luxury trip.

Hosts Wendy Golledge and Alison Perry asked if the couple had a ‘role reversal situation’, whereby Vogue is the one who ‘fixes the broken radiator’ while Spencer ‘does the school run’.

But the TV presenter candidly admitted: ‘In the nicest way possible, I would say I fix the broken radiator and I do the school run.’

She went on to reveal the staggering percentage that she pulls the weight at home, and confessed it had caused a ‘tiff’ with her and Spencer earlier in the day.

Vogue said: ‘I would say I do 80 percent of what [goes on]. We’ve actually been having a slight little tiff about that this morning, about the stuff that I do.’

She then broke into laughter, as she admitted: ‘I’ve had enough today!’

While on her own podcast with her sister, Vogue & Amber, the mother-of-three gave more insight into their home life, as she revealed how youngest son Otto had left Spencer ‘raging’ after waking him during the early hours.

She explained how the toddler had woken up and come straight into his parents room to wake them, before speeding off to the kitchen.

Vogue recalled: ‘Then [Otto] ran into the kitchen and Spenny was raging. You think I’m obsessed with my sleep, Spenny gets up and was like, “I’m already in a sleep deficit, I need to get back to sleep”.’

Last week saw Spencer admit that he won’t be passing on his fortune to his three children, as he doesn’t want them to become ‘trust fund kids’.

The fitness fanatic is the son of multimillionaire Eden Rock hotelier David Matthews and was educated at Eton College, where fees are currently £63,000 a year.

However, he said he is determined to make sure his own children know they will need to earn their own money as he admitted he won’t be giving all his wealth to his children.

Spencer told The Mirror: There’s no point in doing well in life and then giving it all to your kids. It’s doing them a huge disservice.’

The star explained he has taken inspiration from comedian Jimmy Carr , who has spoken candidly about the idea of ‘trust fund kids’.

He said: ‘Jimmy quite eloquently talks about trust fund kids who are given everything, and he sees them as just being really unfortunate, actually, and I would completely agree.’

Spencer added: ‘If you’re a young man who’s just given everything, or a young woman, who’s just given everything, you may not ever understand the need to work because you have what you think you want, and then, therefore, you won’t ever feel proud of yourself. You won’t ever have a sense of achievement.’

It comes after Vogue revealed she would have left her husband if he had failed to quit his heavy drinking.

Spencer previously admitted he ‘could have died’ at the height of his boozing , when he would consume up to 10 pints of beer a day while working as a city trader.

His issues were exacerbated by his role on the hit E4 reality show where he was notorious for his booze-fuelled partying and relationship drama.

Yet now dedicated to fitness, the star stunned fans by running 30 sand marathons in 30 days in Jordan last August, breaking a Guinness World Record in the process and already has plans to do seven Ironman-style triathlons across seven continents.

And Vogue admitted that had Spencer not ditch alcohol and turned his life around, their relationship might not have survived.

Opening up on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast last year, she explained: ‘I think the way he was drinking yeah definitely. Because with my dad and stuff like although he was a heavy drinker, he wasn’t a drinker.

‘He wouldn’t wake up in the morning and drink, but I’d know where he was at five o’clock at night, he’d always be in the pub every single day without fail.’

She also discussed Spencer’s unhealthy relationship with alcohol previously and admitted that he ‘achieved so much more’ once he quit the booze.

She confessed: ‘He was watching me working and I was kind of getting really cool jobs and doing better things and he was just kind of not being very productive.

‘Then he decided himself to give up drinking and as soon as he did that he just achieved so much more and his career has completely changed since he did that.

‘His life has completely changed, and he’s gotten himself to a point now where he can have the odd drink sometimes and I think it’s quite helpful that I don’t want to drink all the time we never have drink in the house.

‘That’s not because we’re scared we will drink it, we just never want it. So he did that for himself and I think that was quite an amazing thing to do.’
