And the new Channel Seven reality series, which examines the lives and loves of a group of genetically blessed Sydneysiders, was met with merciless criticism from viewers from the first few minutes into the debut episode.
Many who tuned in colourfully shared their thoughts on X, with several revealing they had quickly switched off.
‘Just flicked over to Channel 7 to find #MadeInBondi and, OMG, that’s 30 precious seconds of my life wasted that I will never, ever get back’ wrote one person.
A second person said: ‘I’m too awake for this show I can’t stop cringing this show is so bad’.
‘Wow, if you thought the cast of #ByronBaes were vile, wait until you meet this lot and sit through this pile of (poo emojis)’ someone else posted.
‘I’m 10 min in, already, a bunch of insufferable w***ers!!’ said yet another person watching.
‘Oh my god… 4 minutes in, and it’s already the worst show of the year. I’m out’ one more wrote.

One person found something to enjoy, writing, ‘I like Lachy and Paul but that’s it’.
The stars of the show, which is based off hit UK reality series Made In Chelsea, insist that the drama on the Bondi version is genuine.

‘There’s a steamy love triangle, there’s lots of drama, it’s raunchy, t’s exciting,’ said model Bella, 23.
‘It’s a perfectly produced emotional s***show and it shows,’ added Lawson, 22.
‘Let me tell you how wonderful it is, it’s going to be great,’ the male model added.
‘I can vouch from my heart, it’s not script when I’m crying. I’m really f***ing crying,’ Bella insisted.
‘You can’t make half this s**t up,’ added jewellery designer Emma, 22.
A jet-setting model, a hospitality heir and an upcoming jewellery designer are some of the twenty-somethings set to headline Seven’s new series Made in Bondi.
Made in Bondi follows the real lives and loves of young Sydney socialites living in the affluent Eastern Suburbs and the most famous beach in the world – Bondi.

The show comes from the producers of Made in Chelsea and is set to be explosive.
The series promises to offer jaw-dropping parties and breathtaking fashion, set against a backdrop of iconic locations.
The ambitious and successful young Sydneysiders are sure to entertain as they navigate the treacherous Bondi waters of love, ambition, and friendship.
The series is coming to Channel 7 and 7plus in August, and will be available to stream on Channel 4 in the UK.
It promises to ‘dive headfirst into a world of opulence, romance, and endless drama’.
