Married at First Sight UK viewers slammed bride Porscha as she made her first appearance on the show on Monday when she insisted it would be ‘sad’ if she was matched with someone who was ‘broke’.
Viewers called into question Executive Assistant Porscha’s high standards as she listed what she expected from a man.
Porscha, 36, had been paired with DJ and Youth Worker Terence, 40, by the programme’s experts but before she met him she set out what she did not want from her partner as well as what she was hoping for.
And she made it clear she was hoping to be looked after by a gentleman with a healthy bank balance.
She said: ‘It would be great to have a man who is happy to go out to work and happy to come home and have his dinner on the table.

‘Oh my God, could you imagine if he’s broke? That would be sad. Especially if he’s got no ambitions to get richer because I’m not going to be the b**ody breadwinner and let him stay at home and be the Mrs. No!’
In a piece to camera, she added: ‘It’s super important to me to have a husband who is ambitious, has a good job, has a career, has a little bit going, that can look after me.’
Viewers of the show took to Twitter to express their views on Porscha’s words.
One person wrote: ‘Oh dear I think we can see why “10” Porscha is having man trouble. Very unrealistic expectations.’
Another viewer commented: ‘For someone so religious, Porsha seems to have forgotten that greed and pride are deadly sins.’
‘I don’t think we’re going to end up liking this one, do you?,’ asked another show fan of their fellow viewers.
Someone else posted: ‘”I want someone to look after me” I understand some people have traditional values but I wonder what Porsha’s ambitions for herself are.’
While someone else remarked: ‘Porsha is awful. Find the way she speaks about what she thinks a man should be really disturbing considering she has a son. Bet she wouldn’t stand for a woman treating her son like she intends to treat her future husband.’

Elsewhere, Married at First Sight UK viewers slammed the relationship experts for an obvious mismatch as Porscha and Terence walked down the aisle.
They were the latest pairing to tie the knot on the E4 dating show, while new couple Shona and Brad also met for the first time and got married in the same episode.
But viewers were left very unconvinced by the dating experts pairing up club DJ Terence with Porscha who told how she quit partying and turned to religion.
Speaking about her lifestyle before the wedding, Porscha said she gave up clubbing and drinking to ‘give her life to Christ’, telling how she likes staying at home with her family.
She said: ‘My relationship with Jesus and God is so important to me, I know who I am without him, and I don’t ever want to be that person again, that person wasn’t happy.
‘Just after uni I was drinking a lot, and then there was a point where God spoke to me and I decided to give my life to Christ, I stopped clubbing, I stopped drinking, I loved being at home with my family.’

Meanwhile, Terence detailed his life as a club DJ and told how he is ‘definitely a party boy’ and wants his partner to have the same lifestyle as him.
He said: ‘Most weekends I’m DJing somewhere, I’m definitely a party boy, I’m hoping – I’m praying – my wife has that same energy.’
Viewers were left scratching their heads over the pairing, slamming the experts as they claimed the couple were a glaring mismatch.
Taking to Twitter to share their doubts, one wrote: ‘F**k me, this ain’t gonna work, she’s a home bird and he’s a party animal.’
Another said: ‘Porscha wants the club owner not the DJ,’ and a third penned: ‘Deffo not convinced about Porscha and Terence, she’s given up the club thing and he spends half his life in one!!!’
A fourth tweeted: ‘If these two are still married… boy, I’m gonna be shocked.’

Cracks already began to show as the pair had an awkward exchange at the altar, when Porscha asked Terence his religion before even learning his name.
She asked: ‘Are you a Christian?’, with Terence sharing his surprise to camera as he said: ‘She hasn’t even asked me my name yet, and she’s asking me if I’m a Christian!’
Terence then confirmed he was a Christian and the couple went on to share their vows and tie the knot, as they both appeared generally pleased with the match up.
‘I’m not really sure about the gold tooth but thank you for making him tall God,’ Porscha said. ‘He’s six foot two, he’s not only got a good chin, he’s got a gorgeous chin!’
However, at the reception, the couple became aware of their very different lifestyles as Terence told Porscha about his job, while she shared that she doesn’t go clubbing.
Opening up about his job, Terence said: ‘I host and DJ,’ prompting a worried Porscha to ask: ‘Do you party then?’
Terence replied: ‘Yeah quite a lot,’ with Porscha admitting: ‘I don’t go clubbing or anything, I don’t go out, I stay at home. I can’t imagine staying out past 11.’
‘That’s where my night starts, at 11,’ Terence replied, with Porscha later telling her friends how she wouldn’t be changing her lifestyle to start going out partying.
When Terence offered to get her a drink at the reception, Porscha said she’d like a Nozeco, before adding: ‘No, I don’t drink, it’s not a joke.’

Getting to know each other: At the reception, Terence admitted he was ‘disappointed’ that Porscha doesn’t drink and added: ‘I’m thinking, is this going to work?’
Speaking to camera, Terence confessed: ‘That’s disappointing, but maybe it’s true, opposites attract.’
He later added: ‘Porscha’s not a party girl, she’s sleeping by 11 o’clock, I’m thinking, is this going to work?’
Earlier in the episode, fans had criticised Porscha for her ‘unrealistic’ dating expectations as she listed her preferences for her ideal partner.
‘I like looking good, I like other people looking good, I like other things looking good,’ she revealed.
‘I don’t enjoy men who instigate the idea of going 50/50 on anything… I’d pay the whole bill and leave, and then block him on my way to getting an Uber.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Shona and Brad met for the first time and tied the knot after being matched up by the relationship experts.
The couple appeared to get off to a great start as they both seemed thrilled with the match, and both have shared interests in spirituality and their love of dogs.
Shona told how she falls in love very easily, while Brad admitted: ‘I’m very much a relationship guy, I wear my heart on my sleeve and I love love.’
Upon first meeting, Shona gushed: ‘Oh my God, he’s so fit. Tattoos, tall, tanned!’
While Brad said: ‘Wowzer, she’s absolutely everything that I would have imagined, she’s my perfect type. I feel the chemistry here.’
Shona added: ‘I feel like our souls have already connected, I’m so happy.’
At the reception, Shona grinned from ear-to-ear as she told her friends how she was ‘already in love’ despite only meeting her new husband earlier that day.
Fans admitted they were rooting for the pair as one said: ‘I love Shona and Brad already,’ while a second tweeted: ‘Brad and Shona are definitely love at first sight.’
A third said: ‘I love Shona and Brad together. They mad be my fav couple so far,’ and a fourth added: ‘Oh I absolutely love Shona & Brad.’
However, some shared their concerns that Shona had already professed her love, with one saying: ‘Chill out Shona, wait at least a few hours to fall in love.’
