The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition had its premiere episode on Wednesday night.

But while Channel 10 promised viewers a line-up of stars, fans were left wondering, ‘Who the bloody hell are these people?’

The latest ‘all-stars’ edition sees the likes Grant Denyer, AFL WAG Bec Judd, ex-Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins and reality star Harry Jowsey race across India, Malaysia, Cambodia and Borneo all in the name of charity.

However some viewers were left scratching their heads at who many of the ‘celebrities’ were during the first episode.

‘My name is Bec Judd. What do I do? Something we’ve all been asking for years, Bec,’ quipped one viewer.

‘OK I only know a few celebrities on here. I guess this is what happens when you only switched the TV on,’ moaned one viewer.

‘My favourite part of celebrity versions of reality shows is finding out how many celebrities you don’t know. #AmazingRaceAU has done pretty well…’ wrote another.

‘Who the bloody hell are Harry [Jowsey] and Teddy [Briggs]? Calling them celebrities is a bit of a stretch,’ snapped one more.

Viewers also questioned ‘celebs’ Alli Simpson and Darren McMullen taking part on the show.

‘Who are All and Angie? Anyone know them,’ wrote one viewer.

‘That Darren thinks he’s more famous than he actually is,’ commented another.

The Amazing Race: Celebrity Edition continues Thursday at 7.30pm on Ten
