Victoria Beckham mentioned her estranged son Brooklyn in her heartfelt thank you speech at the premiere of her Netflix documentary at London’s Curzon Mayfair cinema on Wednesday.
Despite Brooklyn, 26, failing to attend his mother’s big night, Victoria didn’t hesitate when bringing up her son at the screening on stage.
Holding back her emotion as she thanked her beloved family, she said: ‘My children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper – and David – oh my God he’s not a child! – I was doing so well without [prompt] cards as well!
‘It’s taken this process to really be proud of what I’ve achieved and to realise finally that I am enough.’
She added: ‘[Thank you to] my husband for convincing me and then forcing me, giving me no choice David’, she laughed.
Victoria added: ‘I very much live in the present, I’m always looking forward, I’m very ambitious, I dream really really big. But this process forced me to reflect and look at my journey so far and it was a very emotional experience, I’ve never done that before.

‘I actually probably think [it’s like] a year’s intense therapy to be honest and it really made me realise a lot.
‘I want to thank my mum and dad for everything, my brother and sister.’
Brooklyn’s no show marks yet another Beckham family event he has failed to attend this year, ever since their family rift.
The mother-of-four was joined by her dapper husband David, 50, for the unveiling of the three-part series – launching October 9 – which follows her journey from a Spice Girl, to a WAG and a fashion designer.
The couple’s sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30, and daughter Harper, 14, was out in full force for the celebration.
Despite the notable absence of her estranged, yet beloved, son Brooklyn, the pop star turned fashion designer couldn’t stop smiling as she revelled in her glory on her big night out.
It was yet another poignant moment, and perhaps a painful reminder, that things have changed for the Beckham gang. For it was just over two years ago that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were in attendance for the premiere of David’s show, Beckham, which was held at the same venue.
While Victoria and David have reconciled that they won’t see their eldest son for the foreseeable future, the couple are ‘always missed’ at family gatherings following the fall out which came to a head when the pair shunned all of David’s 50th birthday celebrations.

Her speech also included a sweet nod to her former Spice Girls bandmates Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C.
She said to the audience: ‘I’d like to thank the Spice Girls – Geri, Emma, Melanie and Melanie. I love you so much and thank you so much.’
It was a night of delight for Victoria because there was a mini Spice Girls reunion which was only incomplete because Melanie Brown is currently away on business in the US. She did, however, send Posh flowers to wish her luck for her big night yesterday.
Geri, Emma and Mel C did however make a show-stopping arrival as they supported their close friend.
Geri was joined by her husband Christian Horner who made their first public appearance since it emerged that the former F1 guru received an £80million pay off from his former employers, Red Bull.
She was dressed in her trademark white as she posed for the cameras.
Mel C and her boyfriend Chris Dingwall made a rare appearance together at the premiere.
Mel finally went public with her new man in summer last year after months of speculation about their romance.
