Vicky Pattison issued an update for fans after she was banned from flying to her dream wedding venue in Italy.
The reality star, 36, was turned away from her easyJet flight on Sunday due to her dog chewing and slightly damaging her passport.
She was visiting the country to plan her nuptials with fiancé Ercan Ramadan ahead of their September date but was instead left sobbing at home and ordering a new passport.
However, she revealed she was choosing to see the positive of the whole debacle as she took to Instagram to give an update on how she was feeling.
Alongside a snap of her dogs, she shared: ‘So I know today didn’t work out how we planned and I’m sad about missing Italy and stuff.’

She later posted this picture while her dogs sat on her bed revealing that upon reflection, she was grateful that this happened now and not on her actual wedding day
Vicky continued: ‘But I truly believe everything happens for a reason… and I was obviously just not meant to go. Or I was REALLY meant to get a new passport.
‘I mean. imagine if they turned me away for my hen. Or my wedding even. Not worth even thinking about that.
‘And you know. Italy would have been brilliant but I wouldn’t be snuggling up with my sons watching Hercules and eating Haribos and this reality is pretty special too.
‘Thank you so much for all your lovely messages today. I reckon more than anything, I was just knackered and shocked.
‘But as always your kind words (and some spicy ones for EasyJet) really make me feel better. You’re all unreal.’
On Monday, easyJet issued a statement about the incident.
A spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘We are sorry for Ms Pattison’s experience and the inconvenience caused. At easyJet, we work closely with the authorities and comply with their guidance to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and staff.
‘As such, we cannot allow any passenger to travel on their planned flight with documentation damaged to such a degree that its authenticity is brought into question’.

They added: ‘It is the passenger’s responsibility to have suitable documentation for travel.’
Vicky had taken to her social media earlier in the day to say she was on her way home to ‘cry’ after the ordeal.
Raging, she wrote: ‘Thought we were off to see our wedding venue today, we were so excited..
‘I rushed back from Newcastle, packed at midnight last night and jumped into bed and got 3 hours sleep… But I didn’t mind because we were going for our menu tasting @ercan_ram.
‘Only to have the @easyiet staff turn me away.. I’ve been travelling with my passport all year and no one’s said anything, but it’s definitely well travelled to be fair Company policy is company policy and I get it, I’m just beyond gutted you know??
‘My wedding planner, her assistant, my florist, everyone are all heading out… … X And I’m just heading home… to have a really good cry I think.
‘All the wasted money, how hard it was for me to get the time off, how excited we were, how I’ve wasted everyone’s time.. I’m just really sad I think.’
Sharing a photo of her passport, she added: ‘This is what was wrong with my passport for everyone asking, in fairness, I don’t know if that is really bad or not, I’ve just not had anyone ever tell me it was before.. cheeky little milo butt.

‘Think rather than waste my glam, I’m going to take some new passport pictures, then cry…’
Vicky concluded her string of posts with a screenshot from an online form which asked how her passport had been damaged.
Writing in the answer box, ‘My dog chewed the side abit,’ she added in her caption to fans, ‘@easyjet you destroyer of dreams you.’

It comes after Vicky revealed that her wedding day is costing ‘the same price as a house’ and she still doesn’t have enough money to fund her dream day.
She admitted that her celebrity wedding planner has told her that her fund won’t even cover the flowers she wants.
Speaking to Rock My Wedding, Vicky admitted that despite trying to be a little sensible in places, she will be wearing four wedding dresses on the day.
But she has limited certain luxuries and won’t be splashing out on the flower installation she had her eye on for their welcome dinner.
Vicky said: ‘I knew weddings were a big money business and, like I say, it’s not my first rodeo in this space, but everything’s just got more and more expensive.
‘I was really shocked. I don’t want to be paying it off for the next 10 years, or remortgaging my house for a wedding.’
She admitted that at first she thought she was going to have the ‘wedding of the century’ but the reality quickly set in when she realised the cost, despite having a healthy budget.
Unfortunately, her wedding planner revealed that what she wanted was impossible with her initial wedding fund.
After hosting 300 guests for their engagement party in London’s 14 Hills, Vicky and Ercan decided to officially marry at Marylebone Town Hall with an attendance of 100.
They will then head to Italy for a welcome dinner, wedding ceremony and evening reception, which has attracted 150 guests so far.

Vicky teased that she will be wearing a sixties-inspired gown for her UK wedding and said she loves the short veil and big sunglasses look.
The pair got engaged in the summer of 2019, when Ercan proposed to her on the beach in Dubai.
He popped the question with a stunning emerald-cut solitaire with a diamond band. British jeweller Rox predicted that the piece would cost around £200,000.
Vicky and Ercan began dating shortly after she called off her engagement to ex-fiancé John Noble after he was filmed with a mystery woman in Dubai.
The couple were together for nine months before moving in together in 2019.
This marks Vicky’s third engagement, as she was also previously engaged to Ricci Guarnaccio after meeting on MTV’s Geordie Shore.
The couple split in 2013 after what Ricci called a ‘volatile’ relationship filled with ‘constant fighting’.
