Vick Hope Shares Send-Off Photos from Radio 1 Before Maternity Leave After Big Weekend Party

Vick Hope has shared snaps from her last hurrah at Radio 1 before she heads off on maternity leave.

The presenter, 35, who is expecting her first child with DJ Calvin Harris, 41, was in great spirits as she presented at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool after hosting her last show on the station earlier in the week. 

She shared a series of images showing her having fun with fellow presenter Greg James, 39, and other members of the BBC Radio 1 team. 

Taking in everything the festival had to offer over the weekend, Vick even got on stage to ask music fans for baby name suggestions.

Taking in everything the festival had to offer over the weekend, Vick enjoyed food and even got on stage herself to ask music fans for baby name suggestions

Vick and the Radio 1 team showcased their varied festival wardrobe in the snaps

Vick also showcased her varied festival maternity wardrobe in the snaps, having only just confirmed her pregnancy last week.

She wore several casually chic outfits including a brown jacket and tightly fitted mini-dress that showed off her growing bump.

But opted for a long tie-dye dress that also put her impending arrival on full display when she stepped on stage.  

The presenter wore a Newcastle United football shirt to represent her hometown when they played in the Premier League against Everton on Sunday. 

Another festival outfit consisted of a pair of ankle length boots and a tight brown patterned dress.

Following the announcement of her pregnancy, Vick was flooded with support from the Radio 1 team.

Her co-presenter, Jamie Laing, 36, took the opportunity to tell her she will make a fantastic mum on air. 

Jamie said: ‘You’re an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you’re just going to be an amazing mum.’

Vick and Calvin’s baby is set to have an interesting start to life, with the pair owning several homes, including a farm in Ibiza and a 10-acre estate in the Cotswolds.

The couple are reported to be in the process of building a mansion on their Cotswolds estate, which is reported to become their main place of residence.

The couple tied the knot in September 2023 and only just announced their impending arrival, choosing to keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight.

Vick stressed on air that she didn’t want to make a big deal out of her pregnancy.

She said: ‘This is not an announcement, by the way. People keep saying are you going to announce, are you going to announce? And I’m like, I’m not the King.

‘I’ll be honest, I struggle with anything that’s personal or private. I will tell you a story about eating a kebab out of a bin, that’s one thing.

‘But there’s a line and so I’ve never been that big on sharing. Particularly because I’ve just been enjoying this privately and quietly.’
