Vanessa Feltz, 62, has revealed the truth behind her hilarious and sexy interviews on the Big Breakfast bed including her biggest regret

The journalist who took over from hosts Paul O’Grady and Paula Yates and became a household name with her flirty interviews is now telling all

The TV host explained how Goldie Hawn had exuded such concern that her daughter Allegra told her the whole story of her school bullying
On another occasion, Dennis Quaid made himself comfortable by taking off his socks and shoes and wiggling his large hairy toes around, much to the host’s dissatisfaction.
Vanessa described Hollywood royalty Goldie Hawn as naturally polite and friendly and even recalled how the star comforted her upset daughter Allegra, who was being bullied at school.
The TV host explained how the actress had ‘exuded such concern that Allegra told her the whole story.’
Despite Goldie’s team waiting to leave, the actress remained until she had finished her conversation.
Vanessa described: ‘Goldie’s team were waiting, but Goldie carefully explained happy people don’t bully – and told her to feel sorry for the bully. Then Goldie hugged her. We’ll both adore her forever.’
One of the morning show host’s favourite guests was Danny DeVito who was so excited about a new play he’d seen, he forgot to promote his new film.
Vanessa said: ‘He arrived on the bed buzzing. He’d seen a Russian play in French and didn’t give a fig for the film he was meant to sell.

The star also revealed she may have made a friend for life in Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum (pictured in Jurassic Park) who she described as extremely sexy

But the star also admitted one of her greatest regrets was an interview with Leslie Snipes.
Vanessa explained that the sexual chemistry between the pair was off the charts and the star had even suggested something more.
She said: ‘Wesley Snipes made a flying visit to the UK. His thesis on the bed was that he’d like to climb my twin peaks and push criminals to certain death in the crevice of my cleavage.
‘Back then in 1996, I thought I was happily married, but when my husband f****ed off three years later, uppermost among my regrets was ‘Damn! I bloody well should have sh****d Wesley Snipes!’.
The star also revealed she may have made a friend for life in Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum.
Vanessa said that the star had invited her to a party in the West End that night.
She took her husband along with her which may have been a mistake as the radio show host is certain Jeff’s face fell seeing her holding hands with her spouse.
And while Vanessa had her favourites, she also had celebrities she did not enjoy interviewing.

One of Vanessa’s least favourite interviews was with Madonna but the pair quickly bonded over motherhood and breastfeeding (Madonna pictured with Guy Ritchie in 2001)

One of the star’s favourites to interview was former prime minster Boris Johnson who Vanessa described as friendly and affable and always willing to get a pint of milk on his way in to the studio
She told the publication that a particularly testing interview had been with Madonna.
The Like A Virgin singer was rude from the outset according to Vanessa.
The singer arrived late and was surly but Vanessa managed to break the ice by talking about the pop star’s new bundle of joy, Lourdes.
Madonna confessed that her little girl was upstairs and only a couple of months old.
She added that she was exhausted from breast-feeding her between interviews.
Vanessa responded by asking her if she was still into sex two months after having a baby.
But the star’s only reply was to compliment the journalist on her ‘bountiful bust’.

The show host described the former MP as a huge hit with the team.
She said: ‘If the milk ran out, they’d put in a call to Bojo who’d stop off on his bike and pick up a carton on the way in. Helmet askew, bicycle clips akimbo, he would bowl into the building.’
