She’s only spent one night at home alone since her split from her cheating ex- fiancé Ben Ofoedu
However, Celebs Go Dating star Vanessa, 62, has said her quest for love has been without success and said her last date went ‘horrendously.’
Vanessa – who split from singer Ben, 51, in February last year after 16 years together – admitted that she didn’t enjoy the date and decided ‘couldn’t stand him’ before the soup had even been served.
She confessed to Heat: ‘I had one dinner with some fellow last night, and I absolutely couldn’t stand him before the soup, I didn’t like him.’
However, despite the bad date, the star still refuses to spend a night at home as she admitted that she has been ‘out every night for a year’.

The TV personality – who previously joked that she went on ‘thousands of dates’ while on Celebs Go Dating – revealed she doesn’t enjoy staying at home.
She confessed: ‘I’ve been out every night for more than a year. I stayed home one night a few months ago and I still didn’t really like it.’
Vanessa also revealed to the publication that she tends to ‘settle down incredibly quickly’ however, has now realised that’s not the best option for her.
She admitted: ‘I’ve always settled down incredibly quickly, and I’m not sure that’s always been the best thing, really.’
It comes after Vanessa joined E4’s Celebs Go Dating last year in a bid to find the right man for her and appeared on This Morning to honestly discuss her experience.
Speaking to Josie Gibson, 39, and Andi Peters, 53, in August last year, the former Radio2 DJ said that ‘dating was damn difficult’ and had the pair in hysterics over her accounts of her dates on the show, including turning her nose up at the ‘hot’ singles Josie pointed out in the clip of the show.
Vanessa joked that she went on ‘thousands of dates’ on the show which matches singles with other singles and confessed what it was like having the dates filmed.
She told the presenters: ‘I think if you like someone and fancy them and find them attractive and find them funny and like the way they smell and like the way they look and whatever else, you completely forget there are any cameras. You really do,

‘If you don’t really like them and it’s not really going well, you’re glad there are TV cameras.’
‘There was one memorable moment where I just yelled at the top of my voice, “Producer, have we got enough in the can yet or what?” And the poor old date looked a bit horrified and I said, “Well, it’s going to be on television, isn’t it? Have we got enough or haven’t we got enough? I’m going to go home. So how long do I have to stay?”‘
‘I thought I was very polite throughout, but various rumblings on the production team told me maybe I was a little tough in parts.’
She also joked that she was ‘flawless’ throughout the dating process.
She added: ‘I was prepared to listen to their (story) if they only had one interesting thing to say I would bloody well have listened to it.
‘They didn’t seem to have a goddamn word to say, but had they had anything to say, I would have listened.’
‘Oh, my God. I thought I was absolutely flawless in every way. But the people that they lined up were not necessarily deserving of my charms, what can I say?’

The couple had been together for 16 years and were often seen looking cosy on the red carpet at several glitzy events.
However, the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate was left feeling heartbroken when she discovered Ben had cheated on her.
The presenter reportedly found a string of social media messages and emails from Ben to other women last year.
Addressing her Instagram followers earlier this year, she wrote: ‘You know I’ve said dozens of times that I don’t like being on my own and I don’t like being single.’
‘I haven’t stayed in a single night since January 2023, not one single night. I’ve been out every day because I just haven’t felt nice sitting at home on my own. I haven’t felt relaxed enough to do it.’
‘Well guess what, tonight’s the night – oh yes! I’m going to do supper, I’m going to eat it.’

‘I’m going to have a lovely warm bubble bath and then I’m going to watch some blinking TV and I’m going to enjoy it.’
‘That is progress. It’s taken me a hell of a lot of time to get here, an awfully long time. It’s been over 390 nights out in total or something ridiculous.’
‘Tonight though is the first exception and that must mean I’m a lot more chilled so thank goodness for that.’
‘Everybody’s been so g***** nice and so bloody supportive in the last year. I really can’t thank you enough – it’s meant the world, it really has.’
‘So TV, supper, a bath – and do you know what, that sounds like quite a good prospect to me’, she concluded the clip, before signing it off with ‘lots of love.’
