In the caption, Bertinelli recalled to her 1.5 million fans and followers, ‘Wolfie’s due date was March 3, 1991. 33 years ago. We didn’t know if we were having a boy or a girl.’
However, the One Day At A Time actress then revealed that her son ended up being born almost two weeks later.

‘And we waited 13 more days before we would find out and meet our new baby boy. Happy due date, Wolfie. To the [moon emoji] and back, sweet boy. #sentimentalSunday.’
The bassist will celebrate his 33rd birthday later this on March 16 – and is the son of Bertinelli and the late Eddie Van Halen.
Valerie was married to the musician from 1981 until their divorce was finalized in 2007. In October 2020, Eddie passed away at the age of 65 following a stroke.
Last year in October, the actress had sweet words to say about her son shortly before he tied the knot with Andraia Allsop.
She told People that her ex-husband and late star, ‘would’ve been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming…’
‘And so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be, and supports him wholeheartedly.’
In 2021, before marrying his longtime girlfriend Andraia, Wolfgang opened up about the close bond he has with his mother.
‘My girlfriend and I pretty much go over to my mom’s house every day to see her and play with her cats that we love,’ he expressed to People at the time.

‘I think a lot of people don’t understand how sarcastic our relationship is. One time, she burnt onion rings. And it’s like, she has a cooking show, so I just made fun of her for it.’
‘I asked her if I could post it. We get in GIF battles all the time on Twitter. Sarcasm is a language, And that’s how we communicate!’ the musician added.
Valerie also told the outlet of her son: ‘Besides the fact that he is ridiculously talented, I’m most proud of his kindness and thoughtfulness.’
‘I think we both like to find humor in the absurd. This world is a seriously crazy place and it’s easier to get through it by finding it funny and absurd. Sometimes laughing is better than crying.’
Bertinelli has been keeping busy and is preparing for the release of her latest cookbook titled, Indulge – which will be available later this year on April 2.
Late last month in February, she took to her main Instagram page to open up about the book and wrote, ‘I’m so excited to share with all of you my new cookbook, Indulge.’
‘I wrote Indulge in this last year or so of healing, while looking for and finding my true self. Doing my best to be intentional with my joy and luckily finding that I naturally hum at happy.’
She added, ‘I hope some of my essays will help you also find your joy, your purpose, and dare I say, help you “indulge” in the life you deserve. And not for nothing, there are a lot of super kick a** recipes in here!’

It comes not long after Valerie was left ‘really hurt’ after she was axed from Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship after eight years of starring on the show.
She was in talks to return as the host, though a source told People that her return was, ‘absolutely discussed,’ but her team, ‘decided they wanted more and talks stalled.’
Another source added, ‘Her deal was up, and [Food Network] chose not to renew. They did not make a new offer, but Valerie very much wanted to continue.”
Bertinelli took to her Instagram stories and said, ‘I’ve been avoiding facing what I got confirmation for last night, and I didn’t want to talk about it last night because I wanted to sleep on it, but it really hurt my feelings.’
‘I know it’s not supposed to, logically. I know it’s just business, budget cuts, right, but it really hurt my feelings to know that I’m not going to be asked back.
‘Without sounding like a drama queen, the show saved my life,” Bertinelli said, adding that it was “like a floatation device” in what she described as her “apex year of hell.”
‘So it really hurts that I won’t be able to go back and see everybody and say, ‘Hey, I made it through,'” she said, adding, ‘It really sucks.’
She added that the episodes that are currently airing on the Food Network, she shot, ‘back in the summer of 2022, which was my apex year of hell.’

‘I was going through it and pretending everything was just fine, because that’s what you do, and without sounding like a drama queen, the show saved my life,’ she said.
‘It just… working with all those really wonderful people and feeling productive and knowing I had spread some kindness and not just wallow in my hell and just try to keep my head above water, it helped me. It was like a floatation device,’ she said.

Her manager, Marc Schwartz, also told Variety, ‘Her deal expired, they opted not to renew it. They could have come to me with an offer just for ‘Kids.’ They never did. Simple as that.’
