It’s a busy time on the career front for Uma Thurman, who just wrapped on the shoot for her latest role in the film Ballerina Overdrive.
As the initial phase of post-production begin on the action-thriller, the actress has been out on the promotional campaign for the Paul Schrader drama film Oh, Canada.
And on Wednesday, Thurman was spotted making a pit stop at NBC’s Studio 6A at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City for an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
The Pulp Fiction alum showed off her lean and long figure in a dark brown three-piece suit consisting of flared slacks and a matching vest that she wore without a shirt underneath.
Rounding out her overall look, she donned a pair of black and brown pumps, as well as cool black and brown sunglasses, while having her blonde locks style long and straight well past her shoulders with a center part.

Thurman, 54, offered a wave and a big beaming smile to fans who had gathered around the doorway to the NBC Studios at 6A as soon as she stepped out of an SUV for the event.
Her appearance on the daytime talk show comes amid the ongoing New York Film Festival, which goes from September 27 through October 14, that had included a red carpet and a Q-and-A session for Oh, Canada a few days earlier.
Both Shrader and another of his co-stars, Michael Imperioli, who’s best known for The Sopranos, joined Thurman on stage for the interaction with fans and journalists during that portion of the New York premiere.
During the event the Boston, Massachusetts native confessed to having jittery nerves at the thought of working alongside Schrader heading into the shoot for Oh, Canada.
‘I mean, Paul Schrader!” Thurman said with obvious excitement to her tone. ‘I’m a really big fan of Paul Schrader. So to get to contribute, to lend myself to his piece, and get to see him working was a real, real privilege.’
Those nerves were out of excitement over the chance to be able to work with the filmmaker, who’s resume as a writer includes Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980), and The Last Temptation Of Christ (1986), while his resume as a director features American Gigolo (1980), Cat People (1982), Light Sleeper (1992), Affliction (1997) and First Reformed (2017).
The longtime leading lady ended up being able to push through the nervousness after learning Schrader is a huge Taylor Swift fan, who are better known within pop superstar’s circles as Swifties.
While storytelling, Thurman dished about the ‘macho filmmaker’ and his legendary films with someone driving her to a meeting ahead of the Oh, Canada shoot when that driver told her it had been reported that Schrader was a Swiftie.

Thurman, who would also give a wave as she left the NBC Studios in Midtown Manhattan, has two new films now in some phase of post-production: Ballerina Overdrive and The Old Guard 2
‘I was like, “What?” And then I read Paul’s quote or tweet about defending Taylor and I was like, “Oh, I’m fine.”‘
Over the years, Schrader has shared a number of posts on social media heaping praise of Swift, 34, and even talked about her in interviews, including last month when he admitted to Variety about being in ‘awe’ of the pop superstar and the empire she’s built.
Thurman went on to reveal how the acclaimed filmmaker had a great working relationship with her and the rest of the cast and crew, and that it was inspiring to watch him work his magic.
For Schrader’s latest production he delves into the life of a tormented writer, played by Richard Gere and Jacob Elordi, as the older and younger versions of Leonard Fife, who’s on the brink of death, who happens to be a Canadian-American leftist who fled to Canada to avoid the Vietnam War draft.

In Oh, Canada, Thurman stars alongside Richard Gere, 75, a documentary filmmaker who sits down for a final interview with one of his former pupils (Imperioli), where he looks back at the ‘unvarnished facts of his life, reflecting on his relationships, regrets and mortality’ and the Vietnam War

Along with Thurman, Gere, Elordi, and Imperioli, the cast also features Victoria Hill, Penelope Mitchell, Kristine Froseth, and Zach Shaffer, among others.
The film, which had its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 17 in Cannes, France, still hasn’t gotten an official release date.
On top of her role in Ballerina Overdrive, Thurman is also starring in the superhero film The Old Guard 2 alongside Charlize Theron, which is still awaiting its premiere date.
