New disturbing details are surfacing about the early morning Florida bar fight that lead to the arrest of Ugly Betty star and Hallmark favorite Eric Mabius.
The 53-year-old is best known for playing Daniel Meade on the ABC series Ugly Betty, which ran for four seasons from 2006 to 2010.
Mabius was arrested on early Thursday morning after a bar fight that involved two females.
He is accused of pushing one woman to the ground and ripping a ‘handful’ of hair from her scalp, according to TMZ.
The Nassau County sheriff’s department responded to a call about a bar fight in the city of Yulee, Florida, a city about 25 minutes north of Jacksonville in Nassau County.
The sheriff’s deputy arrived around 2:13 AM and found a man and a woman who were both ‘extremely intoxicated,’ though neither were identified.
They were said to be yelling at people inside the bar, as two deputies helped the woman outside, and while she laid on the ground, the report said she, ‘continued to resist’ on the ground.

The report added that the bartender and several other patrons told the woman she was being obnoxious and wanted her to leave, which prompted the woman to spit at several patrons.
That is when Mabius pushed that woman and another female to the ground, before getting on top of the second woman and pulling her hair, with the report adding that he actually ripped hair from her scalp.
Many bar patrons separated them, with Mabius behaving belligerent when the authorities arrives.
The arrest report added that he refused commands to sit down and even walked behind one of the deputies, which seemingly prompted his arrest.
Mabius and both of the drunken women were arrested for battery and resisting without violence.

He was booked into the Nassau County Jail and Detention Center just before 6am and faces two misdemeanor charges, battery and resisting an officer without violence, per TMZ.
The mugshot showed the near-unrecognizable star looking dazed, with what appeared to be a cut and purple bruise by his right eye, while clad in a prison jumpsuit.
