Tyson Fury’s Daughter Venezuela, 16, Shares Fiancé’s ‘Nervous’ Moments Asking Dad for Proposal Permission

Tyson Fury’s daughter Venezuela has revealed her fiancé was ‘all kinds of nervous’ about asking her famous father for his permission to propose.

Paris Fury shocked fans last month as she revealed that her and Tyson’s firstborn child was engaged, sharing a video of the moment her boyfriend Noah, 18, got down on one knee at her glamorous 16th birthday party.

Venezuela has since opened up about the proposal, admitting that she was ‘very shocked’, but that it was ‘probably one of the best moments of my life’.

But she revealed that her new-fiancé had suffered ‘palpitations’ over having to ask her former heavy-weight champion dad for his blessing first.

While acknowledging that it would be daunting for most to ask The Gypsy King for his daughter’s hand in marriage, Venezuela insisted that Tyson would never ‘interfere’ as he supports her in all she does.

She told The Sun: ‘I think any boy would be scared of my dad. But it’s the respectful thing to do. He said he was having palpitations about doing it, he was all kinds of nervous.

‘It went well, though. My dad wouldn’t interfere, he’s very supportive of whatever I do. He’s very happy for us.’

While she added that the two have a lot of common for them to bond over, as Noah is also an aspiring boxer.

She explained: ‘He does boxing on the side. It’s something for them to talk about. They haven’t trained together, so maybe they will now.’

Paris previously explained how the ‘old fashioned tradition’ of asking the father for his permission is important to their family, with Tyson doing the same with her dad before he proposed when she was 17.

But despite Noah winning the approval of her dad, Venezuela admitted that she was yet to meet his parents.

She explained that the pair live a few hours apart and only see each other at weekends, so won’t be doing any planning for the wedding until she had met her future in-laws.

But earlier this month, Noah’s mother spoke to Daily Mail of her pride and happiness for her son and his future bride and revealed the family’s plans for the couple to come live with them.

Kathleen Price said: ‘We’re all really happy, they’re a wonderful young couple who have a bright future ahead of them.

‘They’ve known each other for about a year, Noah was 17 when they met and Venezuela was 15 so there is only the two years between them.’

While she added: ‘When they are married – whether that’s in two-years time or whenever they’re ready – the plan is for them to live with us.

‘We’ve got some space at the back of the yard and we’ve applied for planning permission to build on land we have just behind it. We’d like to build them their own home and have them both live here among the family when they tie the knot.’

This week saw Paris defend her daughter’s engagement against accusations that she was ‘too young’ to be making such a big life decision.

Speaking about her reaction to the engagement on This Morning on Thursday, she admitted that Venezuela had only ‘followed in her footsteps’, as she had gotten engaged to Tyson when she was just 17.

The mother-of-seven insisted: ‘She’s very young, [but we don’t] worry at all, Venezuela is so mature for her years.

‘She has done so much, even in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she’s got six younger brother and sisters that she has helped bring up, I can’t deny it.

‘She is very mature, and in the last 12 months I’ve been doing work with Venezuela, she’s been doing different shoots, interviews, working on social media.

‘I’ve give her all options in life, and she has chosen this path and I can’t deny her. I was 17 when I got engaged, so she’s obviously following in my footsteps, and how could I judge her in any which way?

‘I know she’s young, but I think she’s found the person that she loves, and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.’
