Nova FM drive host Tim Blackwell and his ex-wife Monique have sold their former marital home in Sydney’s inner west – a symbolic full stop to a 14-year marriage that ended two years ago and was formally dissolved in July.
Daily Mail was on the ground at Saturday’s auction of their fully renovated five-bedder in Stanmore.
Bidding was brisk, and when the auctioneer’s hammer finally fell, the home fetched an eye-watering $4.65million – well above its $4million price guide.
It’s a tidy windfall for the former couple, who paid $2.535million for the property in 2017 after relocating from nearby Enmore.
While the agents were no doubt celebrating, things were far less cheerful for the vendors.

Tim and Monique kept their distance as they arrived separately to the auction hosted by Montano Real Estate.
Monique was the first to arrive, joined by boyfriend Liam Walsh, who offered quiet support as she walked through her family home one final time.
It was, without question, an emotional farewell. She’d moved in eight years ago, happily married, likely expecting to stay for decades.
The strain was visible in her expression as Monique, clad in blue jeans and a white T-shirt, gently touched Liam’s face as they stood outside the home.
The pair then slipped away for coffee.
She was long gone by the time her ex-husband Tim arrived to spectate the auction.
Surprisingly, Tim arrived solo – without his younger girlfriend Lizzie Baxter, who is rarely far from his side.
He kept it casual in a black T-shirt and pants, chatting with the agent on the front verandah as bidders trickled in.

During their time at the address, the Blackwells gave the home a full modern makeover – while preserving its traditional façade in keeping with the leafy street.
Inside, the kitchen boasts a teardrop-style marble island bench, while out the back there is a swimming pool and yoga studio where Monique once held classes.
At the rear of the 185sqm block sits a garage with an upstairs bedroom, accessed via a back lane – ideal as a granny flat or guest retreat.
These additions came after the exes sought approval for almost $1million worth of renovations in 2020, including soaring five-metre ceilings.
Just 3km from the CBD, the home is also within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and public transport.

Tim is now dating Lizzie Baxter, a former Fitzy & Wippa producer aged in her late twenties
‘Moving house and packing up the Mond Women studio. No one likes moving, but the forced reason to shed can be a gift of reflection and a reminder of resilience,’ she said on social media.
‘I have loved my studio and my space. Goodbye, beautiful girl-space, I’ll remember and cherish you forever.’
The Blackwells’ marriage ended in 2023, with Monique confirming the split via Instagram that December.
‘Not all good things end, but this has,’ she wrote alongside a gallery of photos from happier times.
‘Thank you in advance for your messages of love, support and sadness at the news that Tim and I are no longer together.
‘Our babes are forever supported by Tim’s and my love for them.’
In a podcast interview about a year later, Tim admitted he felt like he had ‘failed at the marriage’.
He added: ‘As co-parents, we’re still in the relationship. It just looks different. I think we’re working harder on the relationship we don’t have anymore.’
Tim went on to debut his relationship with Lizzie Baxter – a former Fitzy & Wippa producer aged in her late twenties – last November.
Monique debuted her new relationship with Liam at a ‘divorce party’ held in early July to celebrate the legal end of her marriage to Tim
Lizzie has since left Nova FM, but her subsequent role didn’t last long.
As Inside Mail previously revealed, she was hired by magazine publisher Are Media to head up digital for Woman’s Day.
However, she resigned for personal reasons after just a week in the position.
Speculation swirled that she quit after an Instagram post on Father’s Day – joking that Tim was old enough to be her dad – made unflattering headlines.
Tim’s career, on the other hand, is flying high.
He currently co-hosts Nova’s national drive show Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, alongside singer Ricki-Lee Coulter and comedian Joel Creasey.
But Tim and Ricki-Lee are tipped to take over Sydney breakfast next year, succeeding Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli.
