Twiggy and her husband Leigh Lawson enjoyed a double date with Dustin Hoffman and his wife Lisa at Scott’s restaurant in London’s Mayfair on Saturday.

The iconic English model, 74, whose real name isĀ Lesley Lawson, joined the American actor and filmmaker, 86, for the evening out.Ā 

Twiggy, Leigh, 78, Dustin and Lisa, 69, looked friendly as they strolled along linking arms as they left the high-end London restaurant.

Model Twiggy looked chic as she opted for a pink ensemble for the double date, sporting a cream and fuchsia striped blazer over a white shirt.Ā 

She paired the stylish blazer with pink high-waisted trousers, complete with a braided brown belt, and a suede brogues.

Her husband Leigh looked equally stylish as he sported all-black finished with an eclectic patterned scarf.Ā 

Meanwhile, Dustin kept it simple in a black suit jacket and trousers with a light-blue unbuttoned shirt.

His wife Lisa also opted for muted colours as she donned a black velvet blazer and matching trousers, with a navy satin and chiffon shirt.Ā She finished off the look with a pair of black patent and gold loafers, a matching bag and a pearl necklace.

Twiggy and Leigh,Ā who have been married for 36 years, looked as loved-up as ever as they attended the The Biba Story exhibition at The Fashion and Textile Museum in March.Ā 

During an interview last year, TwiggyĀ credited ‘luck’ as the secret to her long marriage to her husband Leigh.

Twiggy married the actor in 1988, following the death of her first husband Michael Witney five years earlier.

Twiggy told Good Housekeeping’s September issue due to their past experiences with love, she and Leigh have always been ‘a little gentler’ with their romance.Ā 

She said: ‘[Leigh and I] have been together for 38 years, which is frightening! I suppose luck has a lot to do with it.Ā

We’ve both been through things that didn’t work out for various reasons and when you’ve had that experience, you’re a little gentler when you meet someone else.’

Twiggy is considered one of the most iconic supermodels in history, and first rose to prominence in the 1960s with herĀ piercing blue eyes and beautiful bone structure.

The fashion legend added that Pilates has helped her to maintain her svelte physique, after injuring her back 10 years earlier.

She continued: ‘I badly put my back out 10 years ago ā€“ I bent down for something and it went into a spasm. I spent the week in bed and it really scared me.Ā 

‘I went to a wonderful osteopath who recommended Pilates, which I started when I felt better, and it’s the best thing I have ever done in my life.Ā 

‘I wish I had started earlier. It has changed my life. I do it once a week for an hour with a wonderful teacher and I always say to her, ”Rachel you’ve changed my life!” I have really built up the strength in my core and my back.’Ā
