A beloved TV personality who is known as one of the best minds on the box dressed as Beatles legend Paul McCartney for Halloween.
He shared the snap sporting blushed cheeks, glasses and a wig in the style of Paul’s trademark ‘mop-top’ do, with an added Christmas twist.
He teased his appearance as a member of ‘The Fab Four’ in the post: ‘Tonight Matthew I am going to be… #Xmas special.’
The photo also nodded to Matthew Kelly, who hosted the long-running gameshow Stars In Their Eyes, where amateur lookalikes impersonate their favourite singers.
The chaser added under the post: ‘Less the Fab Four, more the Fab Four all rolled into one :)’.

Gladiator II hunk Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson will play John Lennon, Barry Keoghan will star as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn will play George Harrison in the films about The Fab Four.
Entitled The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event, the project was announced last year.
Now the women behind The Beatles are to be portrayed by four great Hollywood actresses.
White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood, 31, will play George Harrison’s wife Pattie Boyd, while Irish Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, 31, has been cast as Linda McCartney, the muse to many of Paul McCartney’s songs.
Anna Sawai, 33, who has made a name for herself in the US drama series Shogun, will appear as John Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono, and British actress Mia McKenna-Bruce, 28, will play Maureen Cox, the wife of Ringo Starr.
