Today star Alex Cullen has made an X-rated joke on-air in front of a group of children on Thursday.
The sports reporter made the gag on the Channel Nine’s breakfast show after the news desk crossed to him for his report.
Cullen, 43, was commenting on the news story presented just moments before which mentioned people ‘streaking’ in a public video art installation in Dublin.
Flanked by a group of children in NRL jerseys, the reporter said ‘I wouldn’t streak in Dublin though, it’s very very cold. Anyway…’
Co-hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were then heard awkwardly laughing off-screen as Alex moved on with his sports segment.

Alex recently had another awkward on-air moment with Karl, 49, as he stepped into the ring with his Today show colleague for an MMA match.
Karl and Alex got into the ring to promote Jake Gyllenhaal’s new film Road House.
The TV hosts wore muscle print t-shirts as they entered to Lose Yourself by American rapper Eminem.
‘We are putting Karl and Alex to the ultimate test. Do they have what it takes to fight like Conor [McGregor] and Jake?’ Sarah Abo said.

‘Here to get our men into fighting fit condition are Elvis and James from the King’s Academy,’ the Today show host added.
The coaches then explained: ‘ ‘We’re going to teach one of Conor’s moves that he used in the UFC. The push kick. We will use the knee. All these moves you will get to see in the movie.’
‘Well you guys are more ripped then I thought you were so let’s have it. Let’s teach them,’ Sarah joked.
Karl and Alex then practiced a few moves before awkwardly ‘fighting’ one another in the toe-curling skit.
