Tommy Lee Jones’s late daughter Victoria Jones had a drink problem and loved starting boozed up fights, neighbors said – with court records showing she had multiple brushes with the law in the months before her death.Â
The 34-year-old former child star’s New Year’s Day death in San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel came after a slew of arrests for disorderly behavior in the Bay Area.Â
They will come as little surprise to Jones’s neighbors, who say she was frequently a public nuisance in the upscale North Beach neighborhood.Â
In May 2025, prosecutors in Napa charged Jones with obstructing a peace officer and two counts related to drug use and possession.Â
She denied those charges in July and a settlement conference was due to take place later this month.
In June 2025, Jones was in trouble with Napa prosecutors again. She was charged with domestic battery and accused of domestic violence involving elder abuse.Â
The troubled Hollywood heiress denied those allegations too, with the charges also scheduled to be discussed at a settlement hearing in late January.
No further details of Jones’s alleged criminal behavior emerged and the identity of the elderly victim she’s said to have attacked has not been disclosed.Â
One San Francisco local told the Daily Mail that Jones was a notorious boozer known to be easy with her fists. Â

’She had a reputation in North Beach,’ said the source, who did not want to be named.Â
’She spent a lot of time palling around getting drunk in all sorts of confrontations at bars and restaurants.Â
‘A lot of people say she just got into drunken fights, commotions over the course of time there.’
North Beach is a historic Italian neighborhood a short distance from the Fairmont Hotel, where she was found dead.
Jones’s 79-year-old father has yet to comment on his daughter’s tragic death.Â
The veteran star, who won a best supporting actor Oscar for The Fugitive in 1994, resides in Texas with third wife Dawn Laurel, who he married in 2001.
Jones’s mother was Kimberlea Cloughley, who was married to the actor between 1981 and 1996.Â
Tommy Lee and Cloughley also have a son, musician Austin Jones, who is Victoria’s brother.Â

Emergency audio obtained by TMZ on Friday morning revealed that a 911 dispatcher was treating Jones’s death as a possible overdose.
Broadcastify audio of the call made just before 3am PT on January 1 described the discovery of Jones’s body as ‘a code 3 for the overdose, color change.’
A code 3 denotes an emergency that requires urgent action with flashing lights and sirens.Â
First responders tried to save Jones on arriving at the hotel but were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Â
Jones’s cause of death has yet to be established, despite her troubled past and 911 audio.
An autopsy is now likely to take place. Â
Sources told the Daily Mail that there was no drug paraphernalia near Jones’s body.
They added that there was no indication she’d met foul play or died by suicide.Â
