Triple J star Bridget Hustwaite has revealed she will be relocating to Perth to live with her AFL star boyfriend Oscar McDonald.
The music guru, 32, and Oscar will be moving from Melbourne in the New Year with their dog Daisy after he signed a two-year deal with the Fremantle Dockers.
‘I’m so excited! It feels like a fun new adventure and a really nice change of scenery,’ she told Perth Now.
She continued: ‘I have always loved Perth. I was here this time last year for WAMfest and am obviously a huge fan of the music scene.’
Bridget added that she’d be open to getting back into radio if an ‘opportunity arises in Perth’.

Oscar has joined the Dockers on a two-year deal and is currently celebrating with his girlfriend in Fiji.
He has played 81 games for Melbourne and five for Carlton but was delisted by the Blues at the end of the 2022 season after a back injury.
It comes almost one year after Bridget announced her departure from Triple J.
Bridget, who hosts the popular Good Nights program, presented her final show at the station in December.
She joined Triple J in 2015, doing fill-in positions and the 1pm-6pm ‘graveyard shift’ as a part time presenter before being offered the prized Good Nights slot as a full-timer in 2018.

Bridget used her farewell post to tease that she has another career move afoot, writing:’…you’re more than welcome to join me for this next chapter – I’m not done yet.’
In addition to being one of the Triple J’s most popular presenters, she also raises awareness for endometriosis, after being diagnosed with the condition in 2018.
In 2020, Bridget published a book about the condition called, How to Endo.
