A suburb in Victorian has been ‘put on the map’ after a nightclub owner welcomed US superstar Travis Scott to his club on Wednesday.
After Travis’ performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, the Sicko Mode hitmaker headed 38 kilometres outside the CBD for the official Circus Maximus afterparty at nightclub District 14 in Narre Warren.
Appearing on FoxFM’s Fifi Fev & Nick show on Friday, District 14 owner Dominic Porter revealed just what it took to get the superstar to his postcode.
Dominic said it took ‘A lot of time, a lot of money and a lot of persuasion’ after host Fifi Box asked how he managed to pull of such a musical coup.
‘I’ve got a great business partner called Alex and he managed to get onto the managers and agents,’ he said.
‘He did a lot of work and managed to get us in there.’
Co-host Brendan Fevola, himself a Narre Warren native, was more interested in brass tax.
‘Dom, I need to know, how much cash?’ he asked. ‘It had to be a lot to get him down to Narre Warren.’

But Dominic remained tight-lipped, replying: ‘We put Narre Warren on the map, but I’m not gonna tell you how much cash.’
Not satisfied with the diplomatic answer, Fev pressed further adding, ‘I would’ve said a couple hundred thousand.’
Still not keen to divulge the actual sum, Dominic said Travis’ appearance at the nightclub was less than the radio host’s estimate.

‘He was on stage for 40 minutes, and I can say it was less than a couple of hundred thousand,’ Dominic said.
‘We got mate’s rates.’
The party purveyor did let one detail slip however – Travis and his entourage are quite the fans of tequila.
‘What was his rider like?’ Fifi asked.
‘About 15 bottles of 1942 Tequila, and there was about 60 bottles of Azul,’ he said.
‘There was a lot of tequila.’
A bottle of Clase Azul Tequila costs around $376, while $270 will net you a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila, meaning that Travis’ backstage bar bill alone would’ve ran to more than $26,000.

The promoter added that despite having one of the biggest artists on the world appear the his nightclub, Dominic had even bigger fish to fry.
‘We’ve got bigger artists coming,’ he boasted, which prompted the panel to throw out some suggestions including rapper Kendrick Lamar who recently announced an Australian tour.
‘Who knows?’ a tight-lipped Dominic said. ‘Keep an eye on your socials.’
Travis’ trip to Melbourne suburbia came after a wild performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday night that saw a concertgoer suffer a frightening medical episode after being ‘fly-kicked’ by a security guard.
The US rapper’s Australian tour has been marred by similar violent melees at shows.
Fans also brawled with security guards at Travis Scott’s sold out Melbourne show at Marvel Stadium on Tuesday night.
In footage posted to TikTok, patrons are seen trying to fight their way past security and get into the mosh pit as Scott performed his Circus Maximus Tour.
Security guards were seen pinning down rowdy members of the public in the clip, as the die-hard fans fought to score free access to the mosh pit.
