Taylor Swift has roped boyfriend Travis Kelce into getting his hands dirty in the kitchen this year as they celebrate their second Thanksgiving as a couple.
The power couple are preparing to enjoy the holiday together for the first time after the South American leg of Taylor’s Eras World Tour forced them apart last year.
Though Travis, 35, and the Kansas City Chiefs will be facing off against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday, the tight end has ensured he can make the most of his day off with his girlfriend of over a year.
And the NFL superstar will be on ‘dishes duty.’
‘Taylor is spending the holiday with Travis and several family members,’ a source told DailyMail.com. ‘Taylor and Travis are both grateful to have the day off so that they can just really relax and enjoy their second Thanksgiving together.’
The insider noted that Taylor, 34, is relishing the chance to cook up a feast for the group – while she has made her partner aware of the fact he’ll be helping out with the clean-up.

‘Taylor really enjoys cooking and is already prepping tomorrow’s big meal,’ the source said. ‘Travis loves her food and is on dishes duty this year.’
Earlier in the month, Travis’ mother Donna Kelce appeared to confirm that she would not be spending the day with Taylor – explaining that the Kelce family didn’t have a big dinner in their plans.
Speaking on the Today show, Donna said: ‘I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. It’s football’s family.
‘Not that anything’s planned. I think we’re just going to be at the football game.’
Thanksgiving will no doubt be an emotional time for Taylor who has been leaning on Travis as she approaches the final dates on her mammoth record breaking tour.
An insider told DailyMail.com: ‘This is such an emotional time for her already, but she is so thankful for everything that she has, and has worked for this year.
‘This tour has been her life and the people on the tour have been her family and as it draws to a close, she has been super emotional – leaning on Travis and her family more than ever.’
The pop superstar will wrap up in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8 after 149 shows and two years on the road.
Last year the couple celebrated separately as Taylor, 34, was on the South American leg of her Eras World Tour – but now the pair are preparing to enjoy the holiday together for the first time

And with so few dates to go, Taylor is struggling to accept the fact that it is nearly over because she doesn’t know what she will do to ‘fill’ her days in the aftermath.
But her close friends believe it is the perfect time for her to ‘start a family’ with NFL champ Travis who has been helping her through this difficult transition.
‘This tour has been her life and the people on the tour have been her family and as it draws to a close, she has been super emotional – leaning on Travis and her family more than ever,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.
‘She is such a busy body. She knows she must just take some time to enjoy her successes, but she really doesn’t know what to do to fill her time aside from writing songs.
‘Taylor cannot be bored and doesn’t really know what she is going to do with her time.’
The source added that while Taylor ‘has not discussed’ becoming a mom recently, it’s something she has talked about wanting in the past – and her loved ones believe it’s the logical next step for her.
‘Her friends believe that she should use this time to take things to the next level with Travis and that it is the perfect time to start a family of her own,’ they continued.
‘She has had everything she has ever wanted and everyone who knows her believes she would make the best mom ever.

‘Taylor has not discussed this with them but has talked about wanting a family in the past.’
The emotional toll of finally wrapping up the $1billion tour was evident on Saturday night when the Cruel Summer singer broke down in tears while performing at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
She was overcome with emotion as she talked to the audience at the sold-out show after she received a standing ovation for her performance of Champagne Problems.
Back in June, a separate source told DailyMail.com that Taylor had no plans to take a lengthy break after the tour concluded.
They claimed that she was already working on new music for a 2025 release and was in talks to hit the road again in 2026.
‘Taylor is working on a new record which is due out in 2025 followed by a new tour in 2026,’ the insider claimed.
‘She is heavily inspired by all the new experiences she is having on the Eras tour and has been quietly writing songs backstage.’
Since the Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023, Taylor has released an impressive three albums – two re-recordings of her older LPs, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version), as well as a brand-new two-CD set called The Tortured Poets Department, which contained a whopping 31 tracks.
Over the last few months, rumors have swirled that she’s gearing up to drop Reputation (Taylor’s Version) next.
