Leanne Quigley has shared the heartbreaking reason that she is waiting to marry her fiancée Sophie Jones – as she insisted ‘I’d marry her tomorrow’.
The Traitors winner, 28, explained the couple want to wait until Sophie’s hair grows back following her chemotherapy after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Sophie, who has now received the all clear, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer last year, weeks after Leanne finished filming on the BBC show.
The former soldier, who was a Faithful during her time on the third series of the show, said: ‘I would get married today if I could. But Soph has been going through her hair growth journey.’
‘As soon as she feels comfortable and ready then we will get married. Ideally it will be the end of next year or maybe the start of 2027.’
Speaking to the Mirror at the LGBTQ Awards in London, Leanne said: ‘ Sophie’s doing great. This is the first thing she has been able to come to with me without having to wear a wig. It feels very special.’

She continued by revealing their plans to marry ‘close to home’ as hey previously took their twin sons Harley and Hudson, two, away on holiday and it was chaos.
The couple are now looking to the future following an ‘utterly terrifying’ experience where they didn’t know if Sophie would survive.
Their plans include welcoming more children together and plan to start the IVF process again to grow their family of four.
She has previously mentioned her plans to use the money for further IVF rounds and her upcoming wedding to fiancée Sophie Jones.
Previously speaking to MailOnline, Leanne mentioned she was awaiting the cash after being asked if she’d spent it: ‘No, not quite yet, we absolutely haven’t had it yet.
‘So, when that time comes, I think we’ll go on a nice family holiday holiday.’
And on This Morning she said: ‘I mentioned that I would love to have another baby, I’d love to try for IVF again and give my little boys a sibling.
‘Also, We have a wedding to plan now. I got engaged back in August, which is just the best feeling.

Leanne appeared in the most recent series of The Traitors
‘[My boys] are just amazing and they’re warriors and they don’t even know it.’
Speaking to MailOnline after winning The Traitors, Leanne admitted she has been eyeing up Ardross Castle in the Highlands, the one used for the show, as her wedding venue.
‘We have got wedding planning to do,’ she told MailOnline. ‘We have just started. We haven’t set a date yet but yeah we can get a wedding going.
‘I actually looked at the castle because I didn’t realise you could get married there. That would be so iconic. I would actually love that.’
Couples looking for the perfect wedding venue are actually able to hire the Great Hall at Ardross Castle, which can cater for up to 130 guests.
Leanne added that she would ‘absolutely’ be inviting the cast of the BBC show to her big day, when it rolls around.
She quipped: ‘I mean, the most incredible people I’ve ever met in my life, and the genuine love that we all have for each other.
‘We’ve all had a few meet ups since leaving the castle and every time we see each other, it’s just all love. It’s so lovely.’

She also revealed plans to use some of the money to expand her family, as she said: ‘I will absolutely be trying to have another baby, not straight away, maybe in a couple of years, I think.
‘My family need a little bit of a rest at the minute. But I think we’ll go through and freeze our eggs, hopefully get some embryos and get them in the freezer for the future.’
Leanne’s win came after a very difficult six months following Sophie’s secret battle with cancer – which was diagnosed just weeks after she returned from filming.
Speaking to Metro, Leanne said of the ordeal: ‘I would never, ever have gone away to film if Soph had cancer. We found out weeks after I got home.
‘Actually, she found a lump maybe a month after, and it all happened very quickly from there. Ringing the bell now, radiotherapy to get through
‘I only left the army actually in October, so I’m still very freshly out of the army. And with lots going on, first of all, with the twins, and then with my partner, we’re going to take some time now to really enjoy family time.’
