Jonny Holloway has said it is ‘time to tell his side of the story’ after his name was dragged into the paternity row between Charlotte Chilton and Conor Maynard.
Charlotte, 32, announced in June last year that Conor, also 32, was allegedly the father of her unborn ‘miracle’ baby, having fallen pregnant as a result of a one-night stand.
Two paternity tests have since found that the singer, who recently announced his engagement to his girlfriend Kitty Bertrand, is not the father.
Conor, on Monday, suggested that the real father could be Jonny, after Jonny’s ex-wife Lauren Ward sent a private message to Conor claiming he also slept with Charlotte around the same time she fell pregnant.
Charlotte insisted on Wednesday that she did not sleep with Jonny and continued to assert that Conor is the only man she was intimate with around that time.
Now, in another wild turn in the paternity row, Jonny said he is ‘lost for words with everything that has happened’ as he warned fans he will be telling his story soon.

Jonny said: ‘Hello my fellow faithfuls, waiting for me to make a video. I want to speak on behalf of the thousands of men out there, veterans, anyone that’s been in a similar situation to what I have been in and been through and still currently going through, it’s really not been easy.
‘I’ve never felt so mentally weak and this is coming from someone who has been blown up in Afghanistan.’
He continued: ‘It’s been a huge battle in the house over of the past few years. Family divides, break ups, children being essentially taken away from me and I hope to start the future with more positivity and with my determination I’ve managed to get this far, it’s not been easy.’
Jonny added: ‘I’ve had my name trodden through the dirt for a very long time by individuals, all things that aren’t true. Forgot to tell you, I have a new house.
‘What’s supposed to be a beautiful day for me has been tarnished and it’s been so hard for me to fathom what’s been going on.
‘I’m honestly lost for words with everything that has happened. I think it’s time for me to tell my story and what I’ve been through. Not just for me, but what I stand for as an individual.’
He finished: ‘The truth will come out.’
Jonny is yet to publicly state whether he was intimate with Charlotte but he did share a video on social media on Tuesday to say he has never cheated on his now ex-wife Lauren Ward.

Jonny, who appeared on season two of the series with Charlotte, took a swipe at his ex-wife as he addressed the claims for the first time on Tuesday.
Jonny said in the video: ‘Oh hello, it’s Jonny Holloway. Imagine waking up when you are in the middle of moving house from a separation that happened before The Traitors started filming that your ex-wife is insinuating you’re cheating on her.’
He wrote: ‘Imagine waking up to finding out your ex wife is spreading rumours about you when you split up before the traitors started filming. #jonnyholloway #traitors #veteran #awareness’
Despite the test results, Charlotte has continued to insist that Conor is her daughter Penelope’s dad and gave a tearful interview last week, where she claimed the DNA tests were negative because of a rare medical condition called chimerism.
She vowed to continue fighting to prove her baby’s parentage, stating: ‘I can categorically say it is impossible, there is nobody else that Penelope could have came from.’
Conor took to his Instagram on Monday evening, telling his fans he had been ‘left with no choice’ but to defend his credibility.
He continued to insist that it was ‘100 per cent not me’ that had fathered Penelope, and went on to reveal a private message he had received claiming that Charlotte had slept with a fellow Traitors star.
Reacting to a clip from Charlotte’s interview, he captioned his response: ‘Responding further to the recent news.. at this point I feel like I’ve been left with no choice.’

He began his video: ‘So I’m going to show you guys something. I received this DM.’
He went on to read the message, which included the claim, ‘He told me he slept with Charlotte around the same time as yourself / she fell pregnant.’
Conor went on: ‘I feel that the main reason that people are still doubting me in this situation is because of the statement that Charlotte is making in the clip that I’m currently reacting to.
‘You know, I don’t and have never wanted to expose or air out someone’s private matters but surely you guys have to understand that there comes a point where I have to defend myself.’
He then addressed Charlotte’s claim the DNA tests are not showing he is the father due to chimerism, as well as suggestions that he had bribed the DNA companies to get a negative test result.
He said: ‘I can understand that with Charlotte saying it can only be me, “It can only be Conor, Conor is the only person it can be”, that a lot of you are going to be looking for your own explanations as to why two separate court accredited DNA tests showed that I am not the father.
‘You’re going to be looking at rare medical biological cases of someone that carries two sets of DNA. You’re going to being thinking, “Oh Conor must’ve paid off these multi-billion-dollar DNA testing companies.”‘
Conor insisted he had neither the cash to do so, nor the motivation, saying: ‘I don’t have that much money, believe me, that would be great but I don’t.

He said: ‘But I hope with this new information that I’ve been given, that you can see that there is just a high likelihood that Penelope is someone else’s daughter.

During her emotional chat with The Sun, Charlotte opened up about the ongoing paternity test row and her belief that a rare medical condition may explain the disputed results.
Explaining her side, she said: ‘I have researched and researched trying to find the answers because I know for a fact that the only person who can be my daughter’s father is Conor Maynard.
‘And finally, after speaking to experts, I have found out that what might have happened is I could have been carrying twins but lost one very early.
‘Then strange genetics come into play, which means that twin could have taken certain DNA so her father could never show up on a paternity test. It is something called chimerism.’
Chimerism is a condition where an organism is composed of cells from different genetic origins, meaning it has two distinct sets of DNA.
It can occur through natural processes like a twin pregnancy, where two fertilised eggs fuse, or through organ/stem cell transplants, where the recipient’s body contains the donor’s cells.
It can also happen through the exchange of cells during pregnancy, known as microchimerism.
Charlotte added that having twins runs in her family, and so it makes sense to her that Penelope could have been a twin.
In the interview, she also claimed that she ‘will get to the truth eventually’ because she ‘knows the facts’ as she revealed she was speaking to experts to help her case and gather proof. She also opened up about having suicidal thoughts over the ongoing row as she admitted: ‘I felt battered and just thought, “I can’t do this anymore”,’ and said the scandal ‘nearly destroyed her’.
