An official believes TikTok star Marquay The Goat’s passing at age 24 may be linked to a car accident he was in earlier this month.
A Tesla allegedly struck the back of the influencer’s BMW on November 7 – prompting the influencer to immediately experience extreme head pain.
Now Buddy Bryan, the county coroner of Muscogee County, thinks the incident may have played a role in his passing.
Bryan told TMZ that Marquay was pronounced dead at his home on Wednesday – just over two weeks after the accident. Marquay (born Marquay Collins) was sent to the hospital following the crash, evaluated, and released that same day.
Yet the pain continued in the weeks to follow, with Marquay reportedly complaining of headaches and that his neck, shoulder, and spine hurt. He even informed his brother that he was having shortness of breath and headaches prior to his passing, Bryan said.
Formally, the case has been ruled as undetermined, TMZ reports, however Bryan thinks the accident played a role in his death.
