Tori Spelling is speaking candidly about her decision to get veneers after years of feeling self-conscious about her ‘disgusting’ teeth.
In the new episode of her misSPELLING podcast, the actress, 51, admitted that she let her ‘teeth go to s**t’ in her 40s.
As a birthday gift to herself, she decided to revamp her smile with the help of her BFF and celeb-loved dentist Dr. Kevin Sands, who appeared as this week’s guest.
‘I always say I have a fear of the dentist. I let my teeth go to s**t,’ the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told listeners, before asking Sands: ‘So, how bad were my teeth?’
Not holding back, Sands — who has worked on the likes of Kim Kardashian and Drake — said Tori’s old teeth were ‘disgusting, to say the least.’
He continued: ‘They were chipped, discolored. Didn’t look like the Tori I used to know.’

Tori agreed with Sands’ blunt assessment. ‘Yeah, I couldn’t smile anymore. I didn’t smile,’ she said. ‘I didn’t have a cavity till I was 40. That was all downhill from there.’
After years of hiding her smile, Tori reached out to Sands and they decided veneers were the way to go.
‘I wanted to make you look like you did back in the good old days, the hot little Tori that I know,’ Sands said, before explaining the procedure.
‘We reshaped each of Tory’s teeth. We took these special custom molds and from those molds, we handcrafted each individual tooth, and we just rebuilt her smile like it was 20 years ago,’ he said.
‘Now you have a full smile. They’re white, gorgeous, sexy. Look at you. You look 10 years younger.’
Tori is absolutely thrilled with the outcome. ‘I’ve never been happier. I smile now. There’s a whole new me. People underestimate a smile,’ she gushed.
Tori got her veneers done just days before her 51st birthday on May 16.
On May 9, the blonde beauty posted a video clip of herself at Sands’ dental office in swanky Beverly Hills.
Tori looked elated as she recorded herself moments before going under anesthesia.

‘Here I am with my lifetime bestie and I’m getting my new teeth today!’ she squealed before adding, ‘They’re going in. Here they are.’
Dr. Sands presented the pearly whites on a prototype mouth as Tori declared, ‘I can’t wait!’
The sassy media personality then asked her doctor, ‘Am I going to look hot [with my new teeth]?’ to which he replied, ‘Hotter! Hotter than hell.’
Spelling agreed, ‘Good answer. That’s right.’
‘Let’s have a good day, guys,’ the dental professional added before Tori chimed in, ‘Here we go.’
Then she asked, ‘Can I go to sleep now?’ as Dr. Sands answered, ‘Let’s go.’
Tori launched her weekly podcast misSPELLING in April after filing for divorce from her estranged husband Dean McDermott following a 10 month separation and 18 year marriage.
Spelling lists the date of their separation as June 17, 2023 and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce.
She requested sole physical custody of their five minor children — Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven — while also asking for joint legal custody.
Weeks later, McDermott responded by requesting joint physical and legal custody, as per Page Six, on their children.
Dean also sought spousal support for himself while petitioning the court to end Tori’s spousal support, mirroring her initial request.

Despite the legal back-and-forth, McDermott recently praised Tori as a ‘highly evolved’ and ‘loving person’ as he defended her from a troll on Instagram.
The actor went Instagram official with his new girlfriend Lil Calo last month and Tori showed her support by ‘liking’ the post.
One commenter thought Tori’s support was ‘mind boggling,’ to which Dean replied: ‘It’s because she is a highly evolved and compassionate, loving person, which is a lot more [than] I can say for the trolls commenting on this post.’
He also confirmed that Tori is in a new relationship herself but he did not say with whom.
‘Tori has a boyfriend. People get divorced and are better apart [than] together. That’s life. I’ll pray for happiness for all the haters,’ he concluded.
