Tori Adams from Married At First Sight shares the reason why she and husband Jack Dunkley thought about leaving the show.

Married At First Sight’s Tori Adams has revealed she seriously considered quitting the Channel Nine show prematurely with husband Jack Dunkley.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tori, 27, admitted she and Jack got so tired of the orchestrated drama they wanted to continue their relationship away from cameras.

‘I remember getting to a point where I said to Jack ”let’s just leave” probably just after the retreat,’ she said.

‘I was like, ”let’s just go together, we don’t need to be surrounded by these people, these are not our people, let’s just go.’

The decision to stay was fuelled by the couple’s resilient bond, which was formed  after feeling alienated by the other participants’ alliances.

‘I think we were pretty much set in our ways. We knew that we were never going to have these people on side and we didn’t want them on side,’ Tori explained.

‘We were there for us and we had a really strong dynamic and a really strong relationship. So I think, we were just armoured up and ready to get to the end, and we’re so close at this point.’

Elsewhere, Tori admitted to feeling isolated and distinctly out of place amongst her co-stars on the show.

‘I definitely keep in touch with a few old cast members. I don’t feel as isolated now because we’re obviously in the real world and surrounded by our people. But at the time on the show, yeah, it’s absolutely isolating,’ she said.

‘It just shows people’s true colours, I definitely felt isolated on the show, but I don’t feel like that anymore.’

Tori said after participating in the experiment she was able to form friendships with a select few from the cast.

‘Obviously there’s a group that I knew would not reach out. And they haven’t. And then there’s the few that have that I absolutely expected,’ she added.

Married At First Sight continues on Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
