Tommy Little made a shock comment during a trailer for his new YouTube series I’m Not Crying… I’m Just Cutting Onions.
In the video, the Hit Network drive show host joked about pregnancy as he chatted to his co-host Carrie Bickmore amid persistent romance rumours surrounding the pair.
‘It’s like gaffer taping my penis to my leg and saying nobody is pregnant,’ Tommy joked in apparent reference to Carrie’s protective measures while cutting the onions.
Carrie was wearing goggles and had a peg keeping her nose firmly shut in order to safeguard her against the onion’s irritating enzymes.
In the YouTube series, Tommy will interview Australian stars and comedians across several episodes while cutting onions.
Carrie and Tommy, who have repeatedly been hit by romance rumours, will feature in an episode together.
Earlier this month, the pair were spotted cuddling up for a photo behind-the-scenes at the ACRAs.
The Hit Network drive show co-hosts skipped the red carpet at the radio awards and snuck in through the kitchen together.

They stopped to pose for a picture in the bustling backroom, with Carrie turning heads in a very short black dress.
The pair have been repeatedly hit by romance rumours ever since they hosted their HIT FM radio show from Paris, France, last year.
Carrie split from her partner of 11 years Chris Walker at the start of 2022, while Tommy has been reportedly single ever since his split from girlfriend Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
Tommy rushed to Carrie’s side at the time that she confirmed her break-up, leading insiders to speculate their friendship could evolve into something more.
Carrie announced her split from Chris in an Instagram post in January 2022, saying the pair were focusing on co-parenting their three children, Ollie, 16, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five.
In the video, the Hit Network drive show host described how he felt cutting onions. ‘It’s like gaffer taping my penis to my leg and saying nobody is pregnant,’ Tommy said
‘It’s with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,’ she wrote.
‘While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving and supporting our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything that we’ve got.’
Elsewhere, the pair have had a hugely successful year with their drivetime radio show, Carrie and Tommy.
In August, their program was once again named as the number one national drive show in Australia.
The Hit Network show nabbed an 11.1 per cent share in Australia, securing the top spot for the fourth time in a row in an impressive feat.
The pair said of the results: ‘We are so lucky to have such a hard-working team and incredible listeners who continue to drive us to unbelievable results.

‘Thank you, Australia, for making us #1 for the fourth time in a row.
‘We’re having an absolute blast every afternoon, and we love sharing in the fun with listeners around the country.’
Hitting the number one spot made it the pair’s fourth consecutive win in the ratings and the best result the Hit Network has received for its drive slot since 2018.
Carrie and Tommy were nominated for two ACRAs (Australian Commercial Radio Awards) for their efforts, but failed to take home the win.
They lost Best On Air Team to Jonesy and Amanda at WSFM, and Best Comedy Segment to Ben, Liam and Belle at Nova.
