The troubled final months of Tommy Lee Jones’ late daughter Victoria Jones are coming into sharper focus just days after her tragic death.
Victoria, who died on January 1 in an upscale San Francisco hotel, had been arrested on charges of public intoxication just months earlier in Santa Cruz, California, according to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail.
Jones was also charged with resisting arrest for the altercation, which occurred on May 14.
The latest revelation fills in a picture of Jones’ frequent run-ins with the law in her final days.
The Daily Mail previously reported that Jones had been arrested in California’s Napa County in April 2025Â following a two-day cocaine binge, and she was arrested again just under two months later for an alleged domestic violence incident.
Jones — who had several film and television roles as a child but largely gave up on the pursuit as an adult — is now known to have been arrested again in between her previously reported arrests.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Jones was allegedly in a public place and was accused of using the inhalant toluene.
The substance, which is often found in paint thinners and glues, can be inhaled for its euphoric high, though the National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine notes that toluene use is ‘particularly prevalent in adolescent populations and is considered to be a contributing factor to substance use and dependence later in life.’
The case was still in progress at the time of Jones’ death, and a pretrial conference had been set for January 27, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
In addition to the newly reported arrest, prosecutors in Napa County charged Jones in April with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
She pleaded not guilty to those charges in July, and a settlement conference was due to take place later this month.
In June 2025, Jones was in trouble with Napa prosecutors again. She was charged with domestic battery and accused of domestic violence involving elder abuse.Â
The troubled Hollywood heiress pleaded not guilty to those charges as well, and the charges were also scheduled to be discussed at a settlement hearing in late January.
No further details of Jones’s alleged criminal behavior emerged and the identity of the elderly victim she’s said to have attacked has not been disclosed.Â

Following reports of Jones’ death, her father Tommy Lee Jones and his family issued a statement about their tragic loss.
‘We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you,’ they said.
The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Tommy Lee Jones for comment on the latest allegations about the night of her death.
According to 911 audio obtained by the Daily Mail, Jones was suspected of suffering an overdose when paramedics responded to reports of a victim who had undergone ‘color change.’
Although emergency personnel tried to revive Victoria, she was pronounced dead at the scene, which was turned over to the police for investigation.
Law enforcement insiders claimed her lips and fingernails had a blue tinge when first responders arrived, fueling suspicions she had overdosed.
She was supposedly at the hotel to celebrate New Year’s with a group of three or four people who spoke to the emergency services, with one female witness reporting Victoria used cocaine that night, the sources claimed to TMZ.
Jones’ 79-year-old father, who won a best supporting actor Oscar for The Fugitive in 1994, resides in Texas with his third wife, Dawn Laurel, whom he married in 2001.
Jones’s mother was Kimberlea Cloughley, who was married to the actor from 1981 to 1996.Â
Tommy Lee and Cloughley also have a son, musician Austin Jones, who is Victoria’s brother.Â
