Tom Sandoval contested his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix’s request to sell their $2 million Los Angeles home.
The reality TV personality, 40, responded to her lawsuit on Friday, alleging that she failed to state a ’cause of action’ and did not act ‘reasonably and in good faith’.
The Vanderpump Rules star said that his co-star and now-ex ‘failed to mitigate whatever damages she has ‘suffered’ before filing the lawsuit, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
This comes shortly after he claimed he loaned her $90,000, restricting him from selling until she pays him back.
Madix sued her ex in early January to request a judge to force a sale on their shared property, according to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com.

In the case that the court does side with Madix and tells the former couple to sell the house, Sandoval requested she pays him back for repairs and renovations he has done on their Valley Village home.
He requested to ‘receive accounting and compensatory adjustments’ for what he has put into the property to increase the value of the house.
Just days earlier — after his ‘inappropriate and ignorant’ statement in his New York Times Magazine profile went viral — he filed another response to Madix’s lawsuit against him.
In the court documents obtained by TMZ, he said no sale will occur until she pays back his alleged loan to her.
He claimed that he has a lien on the house that is tied to the money she owes him.
Until she pays him back, he said, a judge cannot force them to sell their property.
The former couple bought the $2 million house together back in 2019.
Early last year, the pair split when Madix discovered that Sandoval had a months-long affair with their former co-star Rachel Leviss.

Since then, Madix and Sandoval have continued to reside in house together — albeit in separate sides and rooms — as they have not resolved how to split the property.
Months after their separation, she filed a suit in the Los Angeles Superior Court for a ‘partition by sale’, according to documents obtained by DailyMail.com.
Essentially, she is suing him and wants a judge to order them to sell the home in order to divide the proceeds.
She is fighting against a ‘division in kind’, which would allow each of them to retain their ownership interest in the property.
Theoretically, this could lead to one of them selling to the third party and letting the other still own and live in the home.
When Madix filed a lawsuit in early January, he allegedly issued general denials against her allegations.
