Tom Hardy left Heart FM’s Dev Griffin red-faced after making an X-rated joke during an interview on Monday night.
The Hollywood legend, 47, left the radio DJ speechless after he mistook a dog toy for a sex toy in a hilarious exchange.
As the Peaky Blinders actor sat down for the interview, Dev began: ‘Last time we met, your dog Blue was running around, right? So, I came prepared this time.’
Holding up a circular rope with a tennis ball attached he continued: ‘I’ve actually bought a toy just for Blue.’
Yet Dev was then left speechless by Tom’s response as he quickly replied: ‘That looks like a ball gag’ as he compared the gift to a sex toy.
Struggling to find the words to continue, Dev stuttered: ‘Well….’ as Tom added: ‘Don’t lie’.

Tom Hardy left Heart FM’s Dev Griffin speechless with an X-rated joke as he mistook a gift for his dog Blue for a sex toy in hilarious interview on Monday night

Holding up a circular rope with a tennis ball attached Dev explained: ‘I’ve actually bought a toy just for Blue (the actor’s French bulldog)’
Dev continued: ‘I mean, maybe it could be repurposed, but I’m telling you, I definitely bought it just for Blue.
‘It’s actually really difficult to find a toy that doesn’t squeak. But he’s not here today, so I feel not just a little bit silly for bringing the toy, but also, I haven’t brought you anything. I feel like you’re quite a hard person to buy gifts for.’
Later in the interview as the two parted ways Tom added: ‘Thanks for the ball gag.’
Tom is known for his love of dogs and his French Bulldog Blue even joined him to read the CBeebies bedtime story back in December 2023.
He had previously appeared on the show with his dog Woody, but he sadly passed away in 2017 aged six.
Meanwhile Tom, who has been filming a project in Wales this year, fiercely defended Barry Island’s famous ghost train as he cheekily told off a radio presenter during a very chaotic radio interview on Monday.
Appearing on The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, co-host Dominic Byrne asked of his time in Wales recently: ‘People were saying they spotted you on Barry Island.

It comes after Tom, who has been filming a project in Wales this year, fiercely defended Barry Island’s famous ghost train in another interview on Monday
‘And apparently you were on the ghost train, is that true?,’ to which Tom replied: ‘I don’t know.’
‘Okay, because I’ve been on ghost train, and it’s one of the scariest,’ Dominic added.
The Legend actor then quipped: ‘Hang on a minute, it’s brought it back to me. It’s brought it back to me. It goes around in a loop and comes back out on the left?
‘Yes, I’ve been on that,’ while the host admitted: ‘And the guy running the ride is actually scarier than the ride itself.’
But Tom looked serious as he quipped: ‘I wouldn’t say that.’
‘Right,’ said Dominic. ‘You can’t say that,’ remarked hilariously the Venom star.
‘Because he might be listening, and that’s just a terrible thing to say about Barry Island, isn’t it, when you think about it? I feel I should defend him immediately.’
‘That’s wrong. I had a great time on Barry Island.’
‘I went with my family, and there’s also the two penny machines. You know, the slidey machines?,’ which Dominic quickly recalled.
‘They are incredible,’ before adding: ‘They’re not healthy, okay? So, in moderation. But they are good fun.’
Continuing to dig with saucy questions, Dominic asked:’Have you weened yourself off the two penny machines…’
‘I don’t talk about that, no. It’s none of your business,’ the Inception favourite quipped.
‘You’re absolutely right. I don’t want to pry, Tom,’ the host apologised while Tom replied promptly: ‘Then don’t.’
‘I won’t,’ Dominic assured, before Tom moved on saying: ‘Next question.’
