Channel Nine’s Today show stars made an X-rated joke about Tammy Hembrow and Bailey Smith live on air on Monday, after the pair were spotted enjoying a date on the Gold Coast over the weekend.
Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were discussing the pair’s rumoured new relationship with Jayne Azzopardi and Danika Mason, when they made a joke about the AFL star’s performance on the field on Friday night.
‘I don’t know who is prettier. They kind of look like twins,’ Sarah Abo said.
‘They could probably share the same shampoo and conditioner,’ another presenter added.
They then joked Bailey was on ‘fire’ after getting ‘about 31 touches on the weekend on the field.’
The hosts all burst into laughter before host Karl then added: ‘Wow that’s a handsome couple.

Tammy stepped out with Bailey over the weekend – just days after claiming she was happily single following her shock split from husband Matthew Zukowski.
Two months after her break–up with the Love Island star, the fitness mogul, 31, was spotted cosying up to Bailey during a lunch date on the Gold Coast on Saturday – with the long–haired midfielder flying in from Melbourne just to see her.
The Cats’ new recruit, 24, was riding high after helping his team thrash Essendon at GMHBA Stadium on Friday night.
By Saturday morning, he was on a flight to Brisbane for his secret weekend rendezvous with Tammy.
Bailey didn’t skimp on their date, taking her out for a swanky meal at Pan–Asian hotspot Rick Shores at Burleigh Heads, where the pair were anything but discreet.
Tammy – braless, of course – turned heads in a semi-sheer cropped tank top which she teamed with baggy jeans, white heels and a $5,000 Chanel Boy Bag.
Bailey – his code’s most eligible bachelor – dressed down for the occasion in denim and a blue polo shirt and let his signature Tarzan-like mane of blond hair flow freely.
They also joked that Tammy and Bailey looked like twins as they both had long blonde hair
The chemistry was undeniable, with the two seen leaving the venue hand–in–hand, laughing and whispering as they spied our photographer.
After lunch, it’s quite possible the two made the 15-minute journey to Hembrow’s $2.88million waterfront home in Broadbeach Waters to get to know each other better.
That same day, Tammy shared a gallery of snaps on Instagram while clad in sultry lingerie. She was posing on her bed.
Bailey jetted back to Melbourne on Sunday to resume training ahead of Geelong’s clash with the Swans at the SCG.
But it was upon his return to Melbourne Airport that Bailey made a telling remark that hinted at a deeper connection with the Insta–famous mother of three.
When our photographer mispronounced Tammy’s surname – saying ‘Hem–brow’ instead of ‘Hem–bro’ – Bailey didn’t hesitate to scold him.
‘It’s Hem-bro, not Hem-brow,’ he snapped – a protective four-word correction that hints this could be more than a casual fling.
‘F**kin’ hell, do your research,’ he added, before shooting a nervous glance at the club minder trailing behind him.
Pressed on whether he and Tammy were officially an item, Bailey played coy: ‘What do you want me to say?’ he muttered, before letting loose with a string of expletives.
When approached for comment on the photos of Tammy and Bailey, Zukowski told a reporter: ‘I heard about this and it’s not a nice feeling.
‘We only broke up eight weeks ago. I just don’t understand how someone can move on so quickly. It’s been 48 days and I’m still trying to work out how I feel as a person after committing in marriage to someone. I’m trying to focus on myself and heal.’
