Today show viewers have pleaded for Channel Nine to upgrade their breakfast program’s set, seven months after Sunrise had a makeover.
Mediaspy users expressed their opinions online saying the set is overdue for a ‘refresh’ as it is ‘starting to age’.
‘Anyone else agree this set is starting to age? Hopefully a nationwide upgrade is planned in the future’ one user wrote.
‘For a space that produces 9-10 hours of programming a day I thought they would’ve made the investment when they moved’.
Other mediaspy users commented ‘I think they wanted a constant set look across the country. Hopefully a refresh is coming soon’.

Viewers believe Nine’s morning program deserve their own set.

Channel Nine moved studios in late 2020 after 60 years broadcasting out of Willoughby.
It comes after Sunrise ushered in a new era last July as Channel Seven officially relocated its studios from Sydney’s Martin Place to nearby South Eveleigh.

The Channel Seven breakfast show underwent a complete makeover, including a new design of the iconic logo.
The set offers a brighter and fresher look for viewers to kickstart their mornings.
A mediaspy user wrote at the time: ‘I mean, this really does look fantastic. Such a refresh. White, orange, clean, contemporary, modern. Really says Australia’s News Breakfast home to me. Nine will need to up their game to compete’.
