Timothee Chalamet looked in good spirits as he took home the Visionary Tribute award at The Gotham Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on Monday.
The actor, 28, won the award for A Complete Unknown, a Bob Dylan biopic where he plays the singer alongside co-stars Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton and Elle Fanning.
Timothee, who also produced the ucpcoming film, was joined at the event by his co-star Monica who plays Bob’s former partner and folk singer Joan Baez.
The film star cut a dapper figure in a black blazer and matching trousers which he wore with a white and pink striped shirt.
Monica, 34, cut a glamorous figure in a strapless white sheer dress with a floral print and a sweetheart neckline.
Actors Elle Fanning and Boyd Holbrook along with director James Mangold also attended the ceremony.

It comes after Timothee’s co-stars revealed the extreme lengths he went to on the set of A Complete Unknown as he channeled his entire focus into playing the legendary folk artist.
He was relentless,’ Fight Club actor Edward, 55, shared of Timothée’s method acting.
‘No visitors, no friends, no reps, no nothing. “Nobody comes around us while we’re doing this.”‘
‘We’re trying to do the best we can with something that’s so totemic and sacrosanct to many people,’ Edward added to Rolling Stone.
‘And I agreed totally — it was like, we cannot have a f***ing audience for this.
‘We’ve got to believe to the greatest degree we can. And he was right to be that protective.’
Sharing her experience, Monica, 34, said that she was still able to interact with Timothée in between filming but he did remain ‘in his own world.’
‘It wasn’t so full-on,’ the Joan Baez star said. ‘It wasn’t “Don’t look him in the eye” or anything like that.

‘We said “hi,” gave each other a hug. I was like, “I just saw Dune!”
‘[But Timothée did stay] in his own world [on set] in a way that I think Bob often was as well.
‘And it was actually really conducive to the dynamic between Bob and Joan.’
The film’s title is recognisable from Bob’s rock anthem which changed his career, Like a Rolling Stone.
The real-life Dylan, 83, serves as an executive producer of the film, and gave notes on the script and took multiple meetings with Mangold.
A source previously said: ‘There’s a lot of pressure to get it right. Bob Dylan fans are insane and will tear him [Timothée] apart if he gets it wrong.’

Timothée recently revealed that he has not actually had any face time with Bob, despite playing the singer songwriter.
‘I never met him,’ he told Apple Music 1’s The Zane Lowe Show. ‘He’s sort of retreated from the public eye.
‘Never met him… I’ve seen him live.’
Timothée added: ‘He approved the script, he made modifications to the script, there are lines that are his in the script that I relished.’
A Complete Unknown is scheduled to be released in the United States on December 25.
