Tim Robards has slammed Ozempic and insisted taking the weight loss drug is the ‘easy way out’.
The SAS Australia star, 41, told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, he can see some benefits to using the drug but ‘it’s a short-term fix’.
‘I think there may be benefits for people who are quite overweight but with all of these things, they won’t have long-lasting effects if they don’t change their lifestyle,’ he said.
‘It’s a little bit like an anti-inflammatory. Sometimes people are so sore and inflamed they can’t even do their rehab. So, having a short-term anti-inflammatory can allow you to do the rehab and let things heal.’
‘Same thing with this. If it gives you a chance to stimulate some change and you change your lifestyle, then I think, you know, there may be positivity with it.’

He went on to say: ‘[But] sometimes true results come in doing the hard work and some people are just willing to jump to the easy way out.’
Tim said the ‘easy way out’ is usually a ‘short-term fix’ and people usually get back to their old habits.
‘You need to change the underlying core patterns, processes, structures and behaviours. If you don’t change then you’ll just fluctuate,’ he added.
