Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch descended into chaos within minutes of starting as actor Anthony Boyle sent the air blue with his bad language.
The Irish actor, 29, was chatting to show hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer when he admitted he was jet-lagged because he’d just returned from a premiere in Los Angeles.
He explained: ‘I was over there promoting this film. We had a premiere for this film we have called Masters of the Air. So yeah, it was a lot of fun.’
To which Tim probed: ‘It’s not a film though is it? It’s a series.’
A flustered Anthony responded: ‘It’s TV show but it’s my first time on live TV and I muck up my first f***king sentence!’ prompting an audible gasp from his fellow guests.

Glancing over at Hasan Semay, James Arthur, Julia Sawalha, Nick Helm, Jon Pointing and Katherine Waterston, Anthony hurriedly added: ‘Apologies for the curse!’ with Tim later saying: ‘Apologise for the bad language.’
The group later laughed off the incident while handing out Sunday Brunch radiator keys.
Offering one to Anthony Tim then quipped: ‘Oh I’m not sure about you mate.
‘No you can have one, even though you’re a bit sweary Mary, you can have one.’
Masters Of The Air is based on Donald L. Miller’s book Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought The Air War Against Nazi Germany, which was originally published in 2007.
The nine-episode limited series is set In World War II and focuses on a squad of Air Force members valiantly combating the forces of Nazi Germany.
Elvis star Austin Butler takes on the role of fighter pilot Major Gale Cleven, with fellow Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan (The Banshees of Inisherin) playing sidekick Lt. Curtis Biddick.
Anthony plays Lt. Harry Crosby in the series.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks executive produced the project, which many consider the long-awaited follow-up to their HBO hits Band Of Brothers and The Pacific.
According to the official synopsis, Masters of Air ‘follows the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the ‘Bloody Hundredth’) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air.
‘Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich is at the heart of Masters of Air.
‘Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all.’
The screenplay was handled by John Orloff, with several famous directors helming individual episodes, including Cary Joji Fukunaga and Tim Van Patten.
The cast is rounded out by Anthony Boyle, Nate Mann, Rafferty Law, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook and Ncuti Gatwa.
Masters of the Air unveils its initial two episodes on January 26, 2024 on Apple TV +. New episodes will be released each Friday until the season finale on March 15.
