Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore put on a stylish display in contrasting outfits as they promoted their latest film at the Venice Film Festival on Monday.
The two showed off their personal styles as they took to the red carpet for The Room Next Door at the Palazzo del Casino.
Tilda, 63, opted for a chic navy blue silk suit with a boxy long sleeved top and capri-style trousers which showed off her waist.
She emphasised her long legs with a pair of brown heels and kept her makeup and jewellery minimal, adding just a hint of red lipstick.
The Beach actress joined her co-star Julianne, 63, on the red carpet and the two were all smiles as they posed together.

The Spanish director, 74, wore a pair of jeans and a mint green striped T-shirt and finished off the outfit with a boxy grey jacket and a pair of colourful platform trainers as he posed with the two actresses.
The trio posed for photos before heading in to watch a screening of the film which is vying for an award in the Golden Lion category.
Julianne and Tilda seemed in good spirits as they laughed and joked and Tilda, who exited the red carpet prematurely and seemed to run back for a few final photos, was able to laugh off the blunder.

The award-winning actress went make-up free as she kept cool in the baggy shirt and flared trousers.
She changed her hair and wore it in waves around her ears as she held on to a giant white rose and walked long smiling with a mysterious male companion.
Tilda and Julianne were also joined on at the film festival on Monday by Marissa Abela who arrived in style.
The actress, 27, who portrayed Amy Winehouse in the Back To Black biopic, was dressed head to toe in Miu Miu.

Joined by actress Chase Sui, Marisa appeared in high spirits as she stopped to pose for photos after getting out of a water taxi.
Marisa hid her engagement ring as she posed for photos, following her engagement in July to West End star Jamie Bogyo.
Back To Black was released in April and saw Marisa play the role of late singer-songwriter Amy, with scenes depicting her tumultuous marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil (played by Jack O’Connell).
Blake, who was wed to the singer between 2007 and 2009, previously admitted introducing her to heroin and is seen by many of her fans as partly responsible for her death from alcohol poisoning aged just 27 in 2011.
Despite Back To Black catapulting Marisa to fame, the biopic, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, was slated by film critics as a ‘poor piece of filmmaking’ and a ‘Saturday-night impersonation’ of the star.
